I look the way I do because I feel comfortable that way. Marketing research has proven that men looking more bear-like tend to be taken more seriously. I did not believe it at first, but you will find that it actually works!
But in all seriousness, I feel that my product could be quite benificial to/. readers. Many of you dream of developing that killer game. I am offering my expertise to you so you can learn how to do it. And believe me, it is not as easy as it looks.
As far as I can tell, the parent account is intentionally established to look like a non-American making fun of Americans - hence the slightly bad grammar, capital letters.
I agree that the parent should pay more attention to delivery, especially in the subject to get more bites. The body could do with a pause, but I think the text is nice and simple and the dual meaning (could be making fun of themselves OR making fun of Stupid American[s]) makes it more effective.
Please excuse my appearance. I try to look a bit, well, strange because I get taken more seriously at Linux / FOSS conferences if I do (Ive noticed FOSS people tend to take a negative attitude towards "normal" people).
Honestly though, open source is a bit overrated. Its advocated by a lot of academics who have little experience in industry, but those of us in the "real world" realise that quite often the commercial alternatives are superior.
