I remember seeing something on telly about a blind kid getting some kind of sonar (which looked a bit like a helmet) that made it possible for him to "hear" the distance and direction to things around him (and possibly their texture, but I am not sure about that). Of course, it took some training, but it seemed to work. Anyone knows what happened to that?

I do like to pop down to the pub and slurp some beer, so I consider myself perfectly normal.:-)

Well, if "elegant" equals "easy to read and write", then yes, VB is elegant.
And no, I am not a Microsoft hugger, I spend most of my day inside Perl's foreach loop.:-)
Perhaps somewhat offtopic, but you do know about Mailinator? It is a wonderful service for those occasions when you want to register somewhere you do not intend to visit again and have to give a valid email address.
(And no, I am not affiliated to Mailinator in any way.)
One thing that I think would help usability would be to drop double clicking, it is not very beginner friendly for two reasons:
- It is not particularly intuitive. "Why should I click twice, I don't do that with light switches or anywhere else?" - It presents problems with the visual response. "Nothing seems to happen. Is the program just slow to load, or should I try again?"
Bender: Yo, highness! Uh, just out of robo-curiosity, why would you use a guy's nose for an aphrodisiac instead of his, you know... wing dang doodle? Lrrr: But I thought the horn was the human, uh, wing dang doodle? Bender: No sir-ee! The main event, so to speak, is downstairs, near the wallet. Ever seen soccer players line up to block a free kick? They ain't covering their noses, I'll tell ya that much. Well, seeya!
I sure hope they will provide nice charts with statistics like which OS is more secure.
Or perhaps a toplist with an approximation of how many users are affected. That would be very useful to the (h|cr)acker community.;-)
I can't sleep, you insensitive clod!

"download speeds are 100 megabits per second!"
Does that mean it can be used for VoIP?

Assuming it runs...
;-)
- *BSD, it will be unexiting, but the best keeper the world has ever seen.
- Windows, it will be great, because games is the one area where Windows is better than everything else.
- MacOSX, it will look really good and get married to a Spice Girl. (I sure hope this does not mean David Beckham is dying.)
- Linux, you do not want to go near its fanatical followers.
You mean, like a crosshair? ;-)
Nah, he just keeps track of how many people he's run over in a spreadsheet.
Well, I would like to see the handheld version, the PlayBoy. :-)

Additionally, can it be used as a Sybase client? If not, I am sticking to Emacs until it can.
A fine performance by KTH from Sweden. By the way, where is the Chalmers team? ;-)
