  1. Weird... on Hypo-Allergenic Cats Now Available for Pre-Order · · Score: 1

It's kinda strange to hear of companies "producing" cats. Am I the only one that finds this a little freaky? I mean, it isn't natural, having cats made in labs. What would you say if they were mass-produced in factories? What if, in 10 years, that is what it comes down to? Genetic experimentation for things not important to survival of one species will just deteriorate our appreciation for life so much more... Although, it would be nice for people allergic to animals, to be able to still be around them. Why don't we try looking for a better solution within our own species for allergies, instead of completely changing another species to solve the problem? I'm sure better treatments can be made :) And they could cost a heck of a lot less than $3,500

It would be nice, but what about freeways where lines have faded? Where there aren't any lines(I'm sure there are places where either the lines were worn completely away or just haven't yet been painted on, e.g. newly paved), What about construction areas? Places where half the road is being paved and the other half isn't? What will be done about animals such as deer that run into the road? Sure they could be detected on straighter roads, but what about around curves? Things like that just make the idea a little scarier, because there are some conditions computers just can't detect, and then there's the factor of being able to sue the manufacturer if it detected a deer once the car finished a corner, and braked from 70MPH quick enough to avoid it, and, say, someone in the car didn't have their seatbelt on(you can't say everyone keeps their seatbelts on during long enough drives)..

They may get fixed quicker because of the relative smallness and open source attributes, but the bugs are there. Just no one is looking/caring too much. Yet."

Linux is already one of the biggest players in the server department, and that's where a majority of viruses and exploits are aimed at... I still don't see announcements for all these business running Linux servers being compromised.... The fact is, Linux is theoretically and in actual practice more stable and secure. Windows isn't.. A virus won't JUST affect your user account files in Windows... I think they're mostly to blame...

So what's wrong with it? It looks to me as though it's just a way to let everyone utilize those features of iTunes, not just Mac/Winduz people.. Soooo.. I'm not trying to push beliefs on you, you shouldn't try to do the same for me. Thus, if someone had high enough moral values not to want to watch or listen to certain things, then what's wrong with that?...

We shouldn't be worried about ignorance now.. It's when parents keep their kids out of sex-ed and never tell them anything until they have to learn it for themselves that it gets bad.

MOVIES ARE JUST A FORM OF ENTERTAINMENT. The main reason many people like these things in movies is because it excites them, or makes things more "interesting." Don't ridicule people trying to live a different lifestyle. By doing that, you're no better than the Palestinians blowing up a busful of children in Jerusalem, or the extremist muslims crashing planes into American skyscrapers and killing thousands.

Personally, I learned enough in sex-ed to get me through my adult-life; I don't need to live off my genitalia.

Oh, and by the way, religion only leads to hatred when practiced to the extreme. Otherwise, it's a very personal and very beautiful thing. So don't stereotype.

Sure, Google could set an attatchment limit, but people could write programs to get around that.. Say you have a 700MB ISO, and google sets a 10MB attatchment limit: you could write a program which disassembles the ISO into 70 blocks of 10MB (much like is done often in the warez world these days), and re-assemble on the other end--You could even put compression into play, if you wanted to make the most of it... compress, disassemble into several small blocks, send, reassemble and decompress on receiving side.

And about attempts going public, this would be a serious blow to the public image of just how secure GMail is..

Even if they combined attatchment size, # of attatchment limit, and bandwidth limit, why not have some sort of system to grab different files from different addresses?

So, the fact is, if the warez community is patient enough... it's plausible..
