For example, it includes support for mathml; that's not exactly frivolous for a blind physics student who can't read equations that are rendered as bitmaps for compatibility with IE
Rendering equations as bitmaps is hardly great for sighted people, either. Changing the font size upsets inline math.
But the mainstream American media, hiding behind its mantle of "neutrality", was much more informative about the US justification for the war in Iraq, as well as our continued presence in Afghanistan.
But "most people" doesn't mean everybody. I'll admit that I have little use for an iPad, as I would use a netbook instead. Nevertheless, some people work by walking around, and an iPad might be easier for them to use.
According to The Rocket and the Reich, only about 5,000 Allied civilians were killed by rocket attacks, which is about half the number of people who died making rockets. Also, the rocket programs diverted funding from other areas.
That's interesting.

CSS 3.1 might concentrate on better print support (let's give TeX a run for its money) Perhaps, but TeX will still be easier to type than MathML.

So Iraqis could choose not to be killed by Blackwater/Xe agents?
So either US government is corrupt, or Blackwater/Xe doesn't exist?

* Not be the No 1 student in every subject except gym and drama
Given a class size of 20, reality isn't going to allow 19 of them to be #1. I guess that author isn't too good at math.

People used two digits for years before Microsoft was even a company.
I never jest, and don't call me Shirley!
You do know that some countries use a comma the way Americans use a period as a decimal point, don't you?
How do you get five quartiles?
Maybe the poster was using engineering notation

Every tablet ran some kind of Windows on some kind of Intel chip?

Lighter, easier to carry, easier to use while walking (I can type on my laptop while walking, but it's not too easy).

It may be a dogma that scientists hold, but it is more a presupposition to science than it is science.
More like a dogma that the philosophy of science holds.
