I'm not sure why you think that IA-64 would outperform AMD64. For those who don't know, IA-64 refers to Intel's VLIW instruction set that is used with the Itanium. RC4 generally is an integer type application, which the Opteron usually does better in (according to the SPEC results). In fact, the only time Itanium does well in anything is when it has 6MB of L2 cache. I have a hunch that with that much L2 cache, any processor will start to look decent.
Also, the Opteron outperforms its 32-bit Athlon XP in 32-bit applications. There is no penalty for only using 32-bit software.
I also worked in PCHO, but I didn't receive any sort of kickback. Most of the people in my department ended up quitting, and going to work for Circuit City because of the commission.
As everyone else has already said, PSPs and accessories are the only thing that management cares about. I couldn't stand trying to push that crap onto customers, and ended up quitting after about 3 months.
If you could buy gift certificates with that offer, you would be able to buy $50 dollars of gift cards, and get another $25. Then you could use those cards, to buy more cards. With enough time, you could basically print your own money for the store. (with an initial investment of $50)
The IEEE standard for Bluetooth is 802.15.3. The 802.15.3a standard is a revision for the standard using UWB signaling.
It promises data rates of > 100Mbps plus lower power.
K-12 public schools in Florida, and I assume in other parts of the US, put sports (particularly Football) above all other issues, including academics. While I hope this is not the case in every school district, it is definately true in the county that I grew up in. (Lee)
