  1. Nuclear on Wind and Solar Can Power Most of the United States, Says Study (theguardian.com) · · Score: 4, Interesting

It's not "kosher" to say this, but we really should have got back into nuclear 20 years ago. The nuclear technology of today is cleaner and safer and more efficient than anything out there. But people are still stuck on *old technology* and Fukashima and so forth when that's *NOT* the technology we would use today. The simple fact is that nuclear is really the only energy technology that can reliably fill the growing need for energy.

Facebook said late Friday that it had suspended Strategic Communication Laboratories (SCL), along with its political data analytics firm, Cambridge Analytica, for violating its policies around data collection and retention.

I'm really not sure how you can "suspend" someone or some organization from accessing "Public" - i.e publically available - data on a public facing website. Again, these TOS things are bu8llshit - you put it out there free of charge, people can do what they want with it, as long as a real law hasn't been broken.

But seriously, this is the kind of stuff that will keep giving back to Tesla, they may be "giving away" a lot of stuff, but they are actually building the network that will be the foundation for the future and they are getting their foot in the door before GE or some other huge infrastructure company gets a foothold on the technology.
