    you'd be better off increasing the size of the battery.

    Or reducing the hunger of your phone. My $15 Nokia lasts 2-3 weeks per recharge if I'm not using it for conversations. I have another phone I use regularly, this one just sits on my desk all day long, functioning mostly as a clock and a paperweight.

    And for this, you pay what in monthly charges?

    A hospital that I worked at used to freeze water in large tanks at night, when the electric rates were lower,off peak. During the day, they would run water that was to be chilled for the air conditioning system through these tanks, to chill the water, instead of using cooling towers. Eventually,the power company bought them off, with lower overall rates, and the chilling plant was shut down.

    1.In several of these activities, such as schools and the police, the stated goals of the public organization is to offer services at least as good as their private conterparts, but for no cost whatsoever to the consumer of the service. Where the hell did you get this idea?
