Having read many articles on XP, I am still left wondering exactly how it is implemented. Programming in pair could mean many different things -- but what/does/ it in the case of XP?
Has anyone practising XP kept journals of progress, or are there any case examples out there?

Computers are like air conditioners.
They stop working when you open windows.

Not only is it amazing that these guys have got a processer to overlock to 1057MhZ at less than -43 degrees Celcius BUT they're also from New Zealand. Why is that everything's now coming from Australia and New Zealand - samba did, and Linus got his inspiration for a penguin logo for linux while in Australia
GO AUSSIES!!!!

It's also fun to watch the 17 Xterm's you've got open shoot the X-Server. Very amusing
For the record, minidiscs are not ROM. They are most definitely read/write...
Erm - Excuse me, there are two types of minidisk. Yes there are certainly Read/Write Minidisks. And these account for the majority of minidisks you will encounter. But, there are also MD-ROMs, which act in the same way that CD-ROMs do (as opposed to CD-RW). Now, I unfortunatley can't claim to have seen a MD-ROM, but they Do exist. Check Your Facts

I'm just wondering how that post can be seen as funny. I'm pretty sure it was a genuine suggestion about what to do with your money.
I hope I get the chance to metamod that post...

I think you missed the point of the post. He was talking about using the money collected as a measurement of what Linux means to the community.
And it was suggested that it be donated to charity.

I don't think this is such a huge problem.

I just don't see where the scandal lies.

But New Zealanders are not Aussies.
No, they're not. hence the reason that i said "why does all this come from Autralia or NZ" (or similar).
And while we're at it - count yourself lucky! Most we don't have general access to Cable, or ADSL - most of us are still using a 56.6K Dialup!

I assume the article is refering to $2 million australian dollars, which equates to $1.3 million US dollars.
Still way too much, but at least it's in context now

When they're making CD's in the number that they are, the CD's cost $0.20 each. When you order 750 cd's you pay around $2.00 each!!!!!
