Monday Night Football in my car sounds like a great way of listening to the game. Football is a great game to watch, not listen.
Personally I think listening to Baseball on XM is a lot more exciting.
But sure you can now hear him say fuck on Sirius but you still can't see any of the hotties naked, nor can you see it on E! since they blur it. Last time I checked, the FCC didn't regulate cable television, especially past 10 pm.
IMO, it seems like Sirius wants an iPod because their equipment is crap. People will not spend 12.95 a month just to listen to Howard.
The fact he is on there can be great for Sirius, but I really can't see them making any money with him when they spent a huge fortune to get him there.
I think it will be a mistake on Apple's part if they invest in Sirius.
I am a fan of Howard Stern but I really see Stern being a huge gamble on Sirius's part. Howard is really getting sick of broadcasting, and if Sirius doesn't tank before Howard gets on, I really cant see him finishing his 5 year contract. Even though I like Howard, I personally am going to be getting XM. Why? Because I think the company is better - I do not want to invest in a company that I think is going to tank.
As a developer I would have all web browsers, including older versions to test sites developed to ensure it works. I even still test NS4! However, as time went on, so did I. I rarely check if it works in IE. Why? I could care less if it doesn't work in IE. If it doesn't work, then use FF. Tough? Oh well.
I now test it in Firefox, Opera, Konquerer, and Safari. But besides the browser, often people never check different resolutions! I often see pages designed for 800x600 yet looks like crap in 1024x768, 1280x1024, etc.
Still, I understand his griping. My machine is one I built myself and I have hardly any problems. Yet, countless people are schmucks and don't know how to use a computer and their stupdity causes other people headaches. I am switching too (not because of the article). I been sick of Wintel for awhile and I am ready for a change of pace.
I am just so sick of Microsoft's pantenting everything. Next thing, my email is property of microsoft. Using Outlook is now going to be the only way to send email. Is this there way of staying strong over Apple or even the Linux threat. Perhaps.
Since i'm known as Nick Burns the com[uter guy around here, i came in and fixed the comp. I had to boot up w/ the boot disc. (my backup boot disc *cough* *cough*). He lost his admin password when i went to the recovery console so i rebooted using ntpassword change and deleted the password (kinda too easy if you ask me, thanks bill!)
rebooted again, went into the xpsp2uninstall directory ran a batch file, manually uninstalled from the console, (bc when windoze rebooted after installing the sp2 i got a bluescreen when win loaded, yay!) so i said to him fuck sp2, just keep sp1. rebooted, windoze finally loaded but slowly, i then uninstalled sp2 the normal way, rebooted again, then i unticked the automagic install stuff so sp2 wont install until sp2a comes out i reckon.
i left with £35 and i was off for the day. thanks m$, easy money for me!
I for one think this whole thing is bullshit. I believe he actually does own the memory card and pretending to have nicked it. What kind of person has the time to play with someone elses memory card? If I found it, I'd just put all of them up at once in a web gallery for all to see. Why the silliness?
Actually the hemp plant and the marijuana plant are the same plant, both are Canabis sativa. The difference in industrial hemp and marijuana is the THC content. And in the United States of America it is illegal to grow the hemp plant because the silly controlled substances act wrongfully classifies hemp as a drug.
hell yea! i was at a boring family part, all of us were broke, so we played with nuts. seriously, they had a nut bowl, so macadamias were worth 10, cashews were worth 5 and almonds were worth 1. at the end, all of us bet everything. one of the guys got 4 8's, i got four 10's, and my cousin got four kings. damn, what are the odss? oh yea, we had two wild cards. it sure made waiting for the food a lot more enjoyable
I got verizon, so with get-it-now, i downloaded a poker game. it's quite fun. i love betting like a schmuck only to hope i get four of a kind, only to find i just get a pair:-/

I didn't RTFA but for my needs, mySQL suits me quite well. The power of PHP and mySQL is all I need.
Lets see, with the pennies I earn, I should be ready to afford one in about 8½ years assuming I don't spend any of my money....

Okay, I want the bloody thing do support OGG for music but does the contraption now support PNG for images or some silly Macintosh PIC format?
