Can we bribe them to include a source of ionising radiation *inside* the dosimeter? Not enough to do harm, just enough to show up and scare sh*t out of them.
you can apply the same level of arguments to consumers that say a computer is not a computer to them. What, you've never seen a consumer's computer with the OEM OS that came with it without any patches, along with all the crapware, 5 years after they bought it? Of course you have.
You're sure spreading disease is a net negative? Primitive population control. It's been used to control rabbits (myxomatosis, calicivirus) with some success. It probably controls human populations too.
I'm not a iOS coder (I code on the dark side) but I was thinking it would be strange to not have logical rather than physical graphics systems on anything these days.
You *do* know that a lot of sunglasses contain polarisers, so your neighbour on the plane might get the action as well? Observe what happens with some monitors viewed through sunglasses when you've got the monitor in portrait, others seem to have it twisted 45degrees so as not to black it out whichever way it is.
I'd wonder about what readable or easily decodable data might be found on your local drive. Do you think telling the authorities that raid your computer that you aren't responsible for illicit content (think about it doing something like google cache on a pron site) or url's to sites the government disapproves of etc, is going to be believable?
Yay-cee was how I was saying it to myself. Rhymes with racy. Just ignore the mid-word capatilisation, it'll go away when the project is properly capitalised.:^^)

No? I bought one in Australia, from an Aussie dealer, Mobicity.com.au Not at all hard.
IRL, I think I'd prefer competent screwing.

Look at how many bad reviews there are, and if the system provides it, a review of reviews. (aka "how helpful was this review")
Which would make the sales figure less biased.
McDonalds is the top selling food in the country, that doesn't mean it's the best.
I'd have problems with your describing it as food.
To imply that Microsoft's locking down the environment is a feature is just wrong.
And yes, Windows XP has a different name to Vista, and to Windows 7. What exactly is your point?
I predict they'll start including Windows phones with "other operating systems" ...
The judge has jurisdiction on the whole Internet? IANAL, but can he really stop this guy posting on a blog hosted in a different country?
When they've dropped to a cent. Maybe.
Also, we've all widescreens these days, and under the ribbons, everything looks really claustrophobic and letterboxy.
Or highscreens. They're more usable for coding on their sides. Something like two highscreens and one wide. (or normal)
And today, Apple lost leave to appeal to the High Court. http://www.itnews.com.au/News/282786,galaxy-tab-101-heads-to-christmas-shelves.aspx
The 10.1 is scheduled to hit retail outlets this Monday.

I'm no biologist, but I suspect the viruses would evolve to the next lowest hanging 'fruit' to act as a carrier.
Put out a feed dish containing sulphur and charcoal for them...
They're all baristas. Not that there's anything wrong with that. (well, apart from the StarBucks ones)
The Kindle reader on the iOS does this? Bizarre, the Android one uses the entire screen.

You mean like Apple seeing the release of the Galaxy Nexus, and wanting to cool its sales down some?
When will I read ahead? :)
There doesn't seem to be a standard (even within manufacturers) for which way the polarisation goes.
Is that a polariser in your pocket, or ....
