    Not real sure why anyone would try to get work accomplished on a platform that is designed to slow the productivity to a crawl while inundating its users with business offers. Windows isn't an Operating System, it is a Marketing Platform designed to emulate an Operating System.

    To convolute matters more parts of wireless networking are in an Amateur radio spectrum. Specifically 2390-2450 MHz range which includes the 1st 8 wireless channels. Considering it is illegal to encrypt Amateur transmissions where would that put WEP and WPA ?
    This guy needs to appeal.

    I believe I will be filing for a patent on a method of filing patents to stifle competition via the overworked patents office inability to properly investigate patents. If Microsoft, IBM and others claim prior work then they admit to filing patent claims to foster anti competition. Should they not then I can collect royalties for future patent filings of this nature. Since I am in the US and Slashdot is in the US publishing does not prevent me from filing patents. Enjoy the mess.

    Some modems used to listen to commands in ICMP packets. During debates on webbbs if the other guy was winning a 'ping -p 2B 2B 41 54 48 30 HIS_IP ' +++ATH0 would at least give one the satisfaction of reading his posts about a suckass ISP disconnecting him. After 5 or 10 of these he would forget the argument and be ranting about crappy ISP's.
