So giving in to a toddler is the answer? If you do not neglected your kid, it will sometimes cry to try out boundaries. If you give in at the young age, you will give in later as well. You are not the kids best friend. They do not have to think you are great because you give in and do what they want.
You are the parent. You are there for the kid. Giving in is for yourself. This is not about you. This is not about the kid crying. This is about you giving the kid what it needs to grow up and know boundaries.
If you are lucky, your kids will get kids of their own and only then will they understand what you were trying to do. Till then, they probably hate you at some level.
And yes, I have had a crying toddler on the phone, craving attention that it wasn't getting. Tough shit. I will hang up, because I do not want the other person to be deaf. I then will call back as soon as the toddler s safe and out of noise range (probably still crying).
Obviously I do not take calls all of the day. However the kid has got to learn that sometimes I am not around, so it should learn that I take my 10 minute phone call or a 5 minute toilet break.

I don't get any complains as they can only send them by email.
Now if my provider would do the same and blocks this one email, I would not send in a complaint. I would change providers.
And this whole fixed/non fixed IP is just a way of selling things that are not there. We do not use modems anymore, so you will need to have the IPs available anyway. Blocking dynamic IPs will just cause another excuse to ask for extra money for a fixed IP.

Instead of walking to the stores two or three times a week, which took another hour per time, I walk 20 meters to my car, sit in it and then walk 20 meters to my office.
Untill just a few years ago, the majority of people did not have a car. That means that they had to use other means to get around. Each one of them means more walking.
We are lazy. Even moving our arm up and down to brush our teeth is too much, so we use electric devices for that. If you need to go one or two floors up or down, do you walk or take the elevator?
So please stop finding excuses in some rare disease that somebody might have. Move around more and eat less and you will be thinner and healthier. Again: I am overweight and I am not going to look for excuses. If I want to get healthier, I must eat better and exercise more.
And those few you are talking about? I am sure that if they would have exercised more and eaten healthier, they would have no issues with whatever is causing their obesity.
If I can place my order just a few milliseconds faster, I will be able to make a LOT of money. If I make it possible,. how much do you think banks will be willing to pay me? 150.000USD will be pocket change.
I am sure I can at some zeroes when I offer it to the banks.

Many of the websites I buy from do not even do their own payment. I will be forwarded to another website who handles the payment. The company I buy from never even sees my card number. The company who does the transaction does not see what I bought. The credit card company only sees what type of store it was, not what the actual purchase was.
In some (European) countries credit card companies are not even allowed to datamine. e.g they can not send promotions to people who do a lot of shopping online or use their card for flights or abroad or whatever.
I hope that they start asking for credit cards as well. That way I could buy that data just like I can buy any other data from Facebook. Much easier then trying to hack or steal it.
Or if you are irritated by a countries laws, don't do business there.
