    He could always just cook up some VR helmet system that creates experiences of books and then plop in copies of Steven Levy's Hackers and the Little Kingdom and relive it through his eyes.

    Or he could, get off his butt and go work at Apple.. He's still employed there.

    Come on, Woz. Make a super iMac or even... a.. Nano mac, I mean Woz is the master of shrinkage. I mean come on, this is guy who made Breakout and they couldn't use his board, it was too small for them!

    The Senators are trying to be patriotic so they passed it becuase they dont want to let the troops down. But wait... John Kerry voted against one of them before... but now he votes for it. It's not right to tack something not even related at all to the war onto a bill, but hey thats demockracy? Either that or didn't read... thats the same reason we have a little thing called the PATRIOT Act. All I know is I've lost my faith in Ted Kennedy and John Kerry, they've let me down on this.

    Not all of us are ready to switch, and how much will these boxes cost? We have 6 TVs in our house, you know how much that will cost. The old thing from when the house was first bulit wont work (it hasn't anyways...in years.) I guess I don't need the two antennas in the attic, I'm sure I could turn them into a pirate station. They expect everyone to buy a box to convert if there old, what if you can't? What you gonna do then. I haven't even seen any PSAs which they really need to start fucking airing. I think it's stupid, it's a quick way for the goverment to make some extra cash. I say we give a few more years.

    That the more scrulpous advertisers will try some way to put some mailicous code into the ads or maybe even images.

    On a side note, Gmail finally supports IE5 in a limited form for me. So now I can log on to it without having to deal with Gmail-Lite. This is schoolwise, at home I use good ole' Firefox.

    I wonder this will include GOES satellite data. This will be a major blow to me becuase I run my school's weather center. This is stupid if you ask me? Hopefully this won't spell the end for the NWS.

    I use this to make my school's weather center, if this bill goes through, I'm screwed, pretty much. Ironically, I do use AccuWeather for some of the maps.
