And post-KDE 4 I can emerge -C konqueror and still have a fully operational system.
Not sure when the last time I opened Konqueror actually.
kioslaves are brilliant where you can use kwrite to open a file over ftp, and hitting save will actually save it over ftp as well. Best feature ever for a dev.
But they do use techniques to prevent fragmentation. Trying to get a high fragmentation % on Linux is a lot harder than it sounds. On Windows its stupidly easy on the other hand as it does nothing to stop fragments.
It could be *much* worse. It could be based on NTFS.
I still cant understand why Microsoft is the only company who hasnt been able to make fragmentation resistant file systems Hell OS/2 had HPFS which didnt fragment and that was ages ago and made partly by Microsoft.
Or maybe they desire the 'gradual slow down' effect that fragmentation causes. So they release a new version of Windows just in time and advertise that its even faster, and it does actually seem faster.
Is it just me or would this attack be impossible if Windows used mime types correctly.
E.g. On Linux it generally doesnt matter what the file extension is, it always opens in the correct program due to the mime type being used to determine the program and not the file extension.
One reason is because graphics hardware *isnt* cheap.
Go in a store and look at the prices of the consoles. You will see that the Wii is the cheapest by a good margin, and Nintendo isnt making a loss on the consoles unlike Sony and MS.
Nintendo doesnt care about the hardcore audience. They are doing what they have always done best - making fun games.
The number of polygons in a game is not proportional to how fun the game is - no matter what the Microsoft and Sony marketing departments say.
The reason why the Wii is outselling the other two consoles is because it focuses on fun and the quality of the games. That appeals to the majority of the market.
Not anymore. KDE 4 has Dolphin and KHTML as separate Kparts.
Konqueror can still use both, but they are fundamentally separate.

Not in my experience.
It crashes more often than not for me. Never had ftp.exe crash on the other hand.
One of the most poorly implemented things in Windows and they've never bothered trying to fix it.
Yeah but its sad when Australia beats you at broadband and mobile coverage. :P
Ahh the benefits of having a consumer and competition comission.
But that uses somewhat more energy than just powering a small microcontroller.
Your going backwards mate. :P
What on earth?
Its not even that fiddly on Gentoo.
Well I know that SD cards can draw a few amps for very small periods of time.
So 0.6mA is a definate improvement.
Actually I find that Wine does a wonderful job of keygens.
The actual generator works perfectly and all the nasty stuff simply dies quietly with a wimper. :)

ext3? I hear you can get it on Windows without too much trouble.

There is PWM due to the tail lights being dimmer when your not braking.
Again, PWM is usually around the 200khz mark though.
People who see flicker with it are just seeing it because they want to - its all in their head.
A coil of wire is pretty cheap, so yes it would be cheap.
They arent extremely complicated devices.
But 5m wireless 'hotspots' combined with a battery would be insanely useful and convenient.

Erm I have seen Notepad crash before. That puzzled me somewhat. :P
The summary mentions that the path to the memory controller gets clogged.
There is only so much bandwidth to go around.
There are limits however to what you can do.
Its not like multi-processor systems where each cpu gets its own ram.
Problem with head tracking is you need to move your head, but the screen stays put.
And thats also why more Wii's are sold than the PS3 and Xbox. :P

I remember some bots for Quake and bots for bzflag which connect as regular users.
That is a very good way to start an AI.
The fudge factors can be toned down a lot because it cheats less.
Jeez you need to get a life if you want to watch stuff like that. :P
Or how many little kids have bypassed it within half a hour?
