I rest my case. Most of the rest of the world doesnt care.:P
But I'll humor you. I'm a Aussie. If we look at the CIA factsheet, we see that 92% of Australians are white, 7% are Asian and 1% are Aboriginal. We've only had 26 Prime Ministers so we are ok so far.
No, the game goes full speed, you just die randomly however as someone runs in, head shots you, runs out and your computer is still trying to render the first frame.
Thats odd because all the Atheros chips are very open, and I think this is was the last bit that was closed. I dont think there is anything left that is closed.
Ok its probably too big for your use. You can however take the chip the arduino uses (or a similar model), and use it standalone without the USB and power regulator stuff you dont need..
You've never played with a Arduino obviously. I've got three of them. Very nifty.
Actually its not the Arduino its self which is great. Its the ATtiny and ATmega processors from Atmel which seriously kick ass. Little chips which you can wire up in 5 mins, run at 20mhz and Atmel has very thoughtfully provided patches to GCC.
You program them with standard C/C++ on any OS you can name and its all open source. The Arduino builds upon that.
But we are talking about the software running on the hardware device, not the hardware its self. No one is demanding that nVidia should open up the cad files for their chips and schematics for their boards.
Eww recycled windows.
I doubt its raised it significantly - It just came out.
Opteron can be used in any combination.
Single processor to Quad Processor, Single core to quad core.
Bittorrent doesnt need reliable communications, and congestion control can be tuned for bittorrent connections.
IMHO its a good move.
Microsoft doesnt want Yahoo to make money, they want Yahoo for the hits and content.
Yeah it is. Your discriminating because of his race.
If another president came along who had white skin, nobody would bat a eye lid.
But when a black president is elected there is a huge fuss.
You say its less of a insurmountable barrier now.
Thats exactly my point - why is there still a barrier at all?
The fact it doesnt work so well also is a large contributing factor.
No no, Microsoft cant count. Its Windows 7.
The problem is Windows 7 doesnt seem to be any better than XP at all.
They've reinforced my prejudices.
Not much has changed.

That would be funny if the brain was a sex organ.
Same with the recent US election.
I find it appalling that Obama is celebrated because of his skin colour.
I like the guy but I care just as much about what colour his car is, as what colour his skin is.
It just goes to show that the US is still extremely racist - just now its sympathetic and not derogatory.
PHP 5 is pretty API stable.
Sure they made some mistakes earlier, but they are fixed now.

Erm...What wifi chip are you using?
The good thing about manufacturers opening their drivers is you get a completely free distro and its fully functional.
Thats odd because all the Atheros chips are very open, and I think this is was the last bit that was closed.

Actually ath9k is fully open source by Atheros.

No firmware, no HAL, nothing.
I've bought two of the cards to support Atheros even though the drivers arent 100% just yet.
I also have a older b/g card which works superbly.
Sure. :P
http://www.wegose.com/google-working-with-codeweavers-to-bring-their-software-to-linux-platform/
Google worked with Codeweavers for both Picasa and Google Earth.
Not hard to find references to the deal.
Google doesnt care about illegal material.
The only reason I've heard for sites getting blacklisted is for doing dodgy SEO and trying to game the system.
Its quite interesting from a educational standpoint anyway to see how a complex gadget like that works.
Really? Google disagrees with you.
They worked with Codeweavers for all their Linux ports.
Whats wrong with a Ardunino?
Ok its probably too big for your use.

Ditto for KDE 4. All the programs are very consistent.
But we are talking about the software running on the hardware device, not the hardware its self.
