you must understand, now is not the time for social experiments regarding the feasibility of >2 parties running for president. Making politcal stances is fine, I mean - I hate Bush and John Kerry is a douche bag (but im voting for him anyways.com), but it's not worth having Bush for another 4 years, because let's face it -- republicans are lemmings that hear nothing else and are much less likely to take independent stances. It's a sad state of affairs we live in now, but we free-minded people must band together a defeat this buffoon monster.

http://www.johnkerryisadouchebagbutimvotingforhima nyway.com/ because most anybody is better than Bush. Even though john kerry is a douche bag, it's NOT the right time to play some social experiment and vote for a 3rd party. Because, let's face it, only free-minded people would consider voting for a 3rd party, which weakens our base as a whole against the republican lemmings. so just vote for john kerry please. god damnit...

  20. inevitable on You Don't Know Jack about VoIP · · Score: 5, Insightful

voip will take over. Voice can be transmitted at such a low bandwidth, and all the cost to make a connection anywhere in the world is the cost of your ISP. I think they have them, but you need to have some sort of program always listening on a port from your IP, and transfer incoming calls to a usb connected phone that rings. Then you'd have all sorts of spam bots calling everyone's IP, so you'd have a list of approved incoming IP's or a numerical code that allows your call.

this party will never come to power because of our current voting system. the libertarianism ideas are so far from Democrats and Republicans, that the necessary changes to the voting system that would allow them to be contenders will never see the light of day. He nails it right on the head when he says they don't want to give up their shared monopoly. I disagree with his "wasted vote" comments. Any libertarian vote right now IS a wasted vote, there's no question. >2 party voting must start with a reform of the voting system. then you should consider other parties.
