    (Considering only the polarization) Nearly all the spectrally reflected light reaches your eyes (polarization depends on the reflecting surface orientation), only half the ambient light. Tint won't change the ratios.

    Fairly quiet...like a nitro burning funny car is fairly quiet? You can be a lot quieter than a helicopter and still be way too loud.

  7. (Propellers/rotor blades) are wear items and are expensive. Much more than tires. The propeller will be about 10-20% of the price of light plane.

    Helicopters are torn down and completely rebuilt every (IIRC) 2500 hours or operation. Cost is a significant fraction of the price of a new helicopter.

    Just for comparison, average cost to run a turbine helicopter is $10/minute. Give them a ton of 'credit', assume the flying car will only be $1/minute.

    'Engine out the bottom' is OLD.

    I've change a bug motor (with 2 others) in 20 minutes. That's slow, nowhere near a record.

    You don't need a lift, just jacks. Not even a cherry picker.

    Cars are easier to fix today vs computer cars before OBD2.

    Sports cars can be huge bitch. Take the motor off the mounts to access the plugs. Remove the motor to change a belt. Big motor, small engine compartment.

    Car models get old, they become uncommon. It's not like front engine rear drive is an uncommon configuration. 240SX's time has just passed as a cheap chassis for a 'kit car'. They're putting V8s in Miatas now, works great, as long as you're stubby enough to fit.

    Sunglasses are polarized because glare is.

    These glasses are polarized for _maximum_glare_ transmission. Their accident causing potential has nothing to do with traffic lights.

    The string sometimes puts people off. But that happens at nudie bars too. I went full Kinnison on a stripper once for a dangling string. Minding my own business, sitting on gyno row, drinking an overpriced beer. Look up and there's a string a few inches from my face.

    No, use whatever flavor is database server is in common use in the organization.

    They all have free local, single user versions. They're trying to lock you in, do everything possible with ANSI SQL.

    There's dozens. One should be 'non-crap'.

    Pretty much any SQL reporting tool.

    For a better coder, setup an OLAP cube.

    Depends where you're coming from and what you are good at. Accountants, with a little training, can use Excel as a database reporting tool. It kind of sucks, but anything built for them will suck to us.
