    The English like boiled meat, news at 11.

    Sous vide is for people that don't like meat.

    Steaks are 'fully cooked', in seconds on a hot grill. Low and slow is for tough meats, not steak.

    At least the euro versions have one right priority. Making sure booze glasses are standard sizes.

    American 'pint' glasses are basically never actual pints. You can pretty much count on it.

    I worked with a guy who's master's thesis was in SQL query optimization. He didn't know how to read a query plan, or even what one was and why you'd want to read it.

    Needless to say, he couldn't optimize a query to save his life.

    If you are mailed a jury summons you have not been properly served. If you call the number on the summons, THEN you have been served.

    A judge in CA got so pissed he started sending jury summons by certified mail, the news did a story on it, it did not produce the outcome he wanted. Rather the opposite.

    You can buy options. Not on all companies, but large publicly thickly traded companies, sure.

    You have to watch a few videos, take a test and have a non-trivial balance (a few thousand) with a broker.

    Not that complicated, unless you want them to be, but they are 'bet like', which is what's good about them IMHO. And bonus, for small 'bets', it's just you and the bookie (broker), who isn't hurting.

    Lots of investments are proxies for others taking hits. Owning Tesla means you bet (GM/Ford/Fiat/Mercedes/VW/Peugeot/Honda/Toyota) won't be able to execute on electric cars...I'm almost talking myself into it, but no, insane price. I digress.

    You're standard is hard to be a purist at. What about the poor people you bought the undervalued stock from? Even long term investors time markets.

    The USA is a _constitutional_limited_ democracy. Simple democracy doesn't work. They voted to make Socrates drink hemlock. 2 wolves 1 sheep etc. Where did you go to school? You should know this.

    'Liberals' have been dismantling the 'limited' part for a century. They OWN the abuse of the commerce clause just to start.

    Globally the middle class is going strong, the American blue collar worker took globalism in the shorts. Guess who they voted _against_ when they'd finally had it?
