  1. 'Democracy' has always been broken. The Athenians voted to make Socrates commit suicide for pissing them off with truths.

Constitutionally limited democracy is what prevents two wolves from outvoting the single sheep.

  2. The law changed in Canada. Private health care (outside the system) is now legal.

Because it's a human right to spend money on health care, rather than just dying while waiting for the 'free' version.

Canadian courts have acknowledged that their health care system is _killing_ people with delays. You should too.

  3. The 'Average' middle class American isn't either. You are clearly buying into someone's propaganda. Check that.

All command economies do. They require excessive concentration of power, which then corrupts. Can't be fixed.

The only alternative it a religious interpretation of Marx. Fuck those people. Government is not going to atrophy if you give it enough power. That was the single stupidest thought Marx ever had, and he had a lot of stupid thoughts.

  6. Budding out?

Yes this years are coming along nicely. But one is kind of late, might run up against the start of rainy season.

You are looking for: 'butting out'.

Also: Protip /.s idiotic 'bad word filter' can be defeated with tags in the words. e.g. Bold, unbold in the middle of words usually filtered.

    Wrong.

The key number that climate scientists use to manipulate the model is the positive feedback between atmospheric CO2 and atmospheric water vapor and the negative feedback between atmospheric CO2 and cloud cover. Those two coefficients are enough to get you any answer you want.

Twenty years ago, it wasn't uncommon for 'climate scientists' to posit positive feedback numbers that would inevitably go from one single gnat CO2 exhale to venus like conditions. After about ten years of control system engineers pointing and laughing (right half plane! exponential! HaHa), they decided they didn't know everything after all, and erased those predictions from their histories.
