I told him not only about Tor, but also that these were not the only chat apps, and that I could provide something that was not know to anyone to be able to block it, running on port 80.
Sure enough, he is now using this program, and has no long distance, and able to lead encrypted conversations without fear of being snooped on.

So for those not able to understand what this means, it means look forward to your ISP sending you a bill next time you have a virus and are too cheap to take care of the problem.

If we could get around the end of the world part, this mark would be a benefit for anti-fraud cases everywhere. As well , at some point in the future, you will have a small compact computer in the chip able to do trivial things and have a sort of interface to be able to buy stuff using credits to your name off your id, which could be global to all known organizations, drivers license, passport, ssn, banking etc... would all be in there, so you would not have to worry about carrying all sorts of wallets everywhere.
You will always have legal tender too though, so even if you have no credits available, you could still use your paper money!

However, it is easier for every one, including this useless judge, to just point the finger at the person allowing legit copying to not happen. Smoking pot is legal, selling pot is illegal, so the only way to ge your pot is through the gov. Copying a dvd is legal, selling the dvd copying software is illegal, so does that mean owning the dvd copying software is also illegal or using it...I am interested in seeing how it pans out, and what sort of precedent this case sets!

I have to say, I have observed that this is the lowest degree of the population. We take it for granted that everyone is like us, or at the very least the same as us, if not better. But sadly, common sense is almost non existent.
If you look at Pakistan, where the husband has the right to light his wife on fire if he has a doubt she is not faithful (without even proof) and he gets out from the courts without so much as a slap on the wrist. Imagine the poor woman trying to find a mate after she has been badly scared.
You would think that common sense dictates, " Hey...if she cheats on you, then it was not meant to be, so just move on" but this logical way of thinking is what separates many people today!

I am glad that the courts are being stern enough to enforce their ruling, anyone not following through on a verdict should be held accountable, that being said, I do feel very bad for M$, as the amount given for the fine is way outrageous seeing as the XML format is an open source format, and belongs to the people anyways.
The judge was misguided when he came up with a number, and I am sure needed a new courtroom, with maybe some new staff and decided that M$ should foot his bill. No IT personnel in their right mind would have come up with this number! I would like to see the breakdown of how he came up with this number, and I can also see why M$ has not given any money yet.
To be fair, even if M$ was not in the past, and M$ is the most evil doer out there, I think this is bigger then M$ itself, in that it sets a precedent, and like all things American, this is way out of hand, and has been blown way out of proportion. Only in the US can someone burn themselves stupidly with coffee, and blame McDonalds for giving them coffee that hot....I know 0 people who drink their coffee lukewarm...
I guess until the critics get in their heads they are flawed, we will have to go to great lengths to show them it does not compute, I am thinking of adding a new partisan in the running that stands for Al Quidae being in control for our government, and then using the tricks talked about here to actually make the votes go their way....and then 2 minutes before the actual meltdown, when everyone on CNN is seeing the impossible...call in and explain the prank to any who will listen.

I have to agree with this one, i have noticed this very same situation where I am concerned. However, lately rain or shine, good or bad, time or no time, even hard work or no, I play WoW....I guess because WoW has both the easy and the difficult, that I would plan to run my raids on a weekend, and leave the AH buying and selling for a quick night after work, so I guess it still stands, lucky for me blizzard created the perfect game in either situation!!!
