Are you sure that ipconfig/renew wouldn't do the same?
Or disabling the network interface under controlpanel, and then starting it up again?
Last time i had to restart Windows to change an Ip-adress, i was using windows 95.
i am pretty sure it will do better than my old celeron(500 mhz), but who will need such an amount of computer power (except enterprises)?
Of course new concepts will need more power(3d desktop?), but why are they deliviring this now?
I Agree with an earlier post, i learnt Basic as a child and it was fun, but when i look back, i understand that python would have been much better!

If they should drop the plutonium in the water (very unlikely) it still woundn't be any problem. Tons of Uranium are already "floating" around, both from rivers and from nuclear disposalplaces.

might sligtly offtopic, but is there any open source software for windows that could do the same thing? I produce a lot of notes, and i want to be able to categorize my files.
You could also use a bootdisk to reset the password(Just google it), no big problem.

Debian is not bloated unless you select all the groups in tasksel. My opinion at least.
