I created this a couple years ago to explore custom rendering of tiles on Google Maps. Neat that they're doing it all in JS - my version is entirely rendered server-side!
Has anyone else noticed that since the GMail trademark squabble that no new features have been added to UK GMail accounts? I haven't seen webclips or any of the new things that have been added. Is this because of the trademark problems (so they have halted development) or am I missing something?
Surely, if it's a generator running off a turbine running off another fuel, surely it's just a whole big waste of energy in a small space? My science skills are not what they used to be but I don't see why this is great?
Great, so mozilla.org is slashdotted. Anyone got any info on the new features in this release or is it purely a bugfix?
Everyone jump on the torrent... (remember that if you didn't use bittorrent to download you can still seed for others - http://dessent.net/btfaq/#seeding)
I'm in the same position, I start a project to tackle things I don't understand - once I've got to grips with it and begin building/coding, I lose interest as I already know the stuff, it seems pointless.
I've spent my school years doing very little - I manage to do all my coursework the night before (without exception) and I generally end up with a half-decent grade, but not what I could achieve if I actually bothered. I find it incredibly hard to concentrate on something I am not interested in - so much so I have thought of seeking professional help. If I am meant to be revising geography, for example, I can read ~1page of notes before my attention span is gone... however give me a physics book and I can revise for a good 6 hours w/o break.
The hobbies think you mention is EXACTLY me too - once I'm good it becomes boring as I'm not learning / practising anything new so I don't see a point in doing it.
I'm not sure what to do once I leave school - as far as I know I'm off to uni (if I get the grades) but after that I have no plans and imagining myself doing one job every day seems torture. Has anyone had a similar experience?
Just a 'disclaimer' to stop the flaming - I don't claim to be brighter than the average - I just find it impossible to concentrate on things that don't interest me - but when they do, I become very good at them, due to the sheer quantity of effort I put in.

About acrobat reader being slow, have you tried Reader Speedup? It lets you remove some of the bloat from reader and reduces the startup time LOADS.

Enlighten me please!
