The article does not mention the participants having cosmetic surgery. If the surgery was something like breast augmentation or the like, then the genes for "ugliness" would be carried forward. I would call it genetic false advertising. This would progress into the further generations becoming dependent upon surgery to be beautiful. That is until the definition of being beautiful changes, perhaps being polydactyl will be the rage in 2100.
Selling is legal. Fucking is legal. Why isn't selling fucking legal? You know, why should it be illegal to sell something that's perfectly legal to give away. I can't follow the logic on that at all.

"We have designed our civilization based on science and technology and at the same time arranged things so that almost no one understands anything at all about science and technology. This is a clear prescription for disaster."
The headline on this threw me off too. I recently watched the episode of Carl Sagan's Cosmos that had a segment on the Tunguska Event. He mentioned that there was no crater and that several attempts to find a potentially valuable meteorite were fruitless. The hypothesis was the event was caused by a comet.
I was hoping they found objective evidence for an asteroid, perhaps buried and recovered. Sadly, it is a computer model.
I noticed that iTunes offered snippets of songs and I wondered what would happen if the song was really short. I searched for "Harvey The Wonder Hamster". It is the tenth song on the "Alapalooza" album and lasts about 20 seconds. I find it very funny that the snippet was the whole song but you could buy it for $0.99 anyway.
When I assisted in developing phpWebsite the project leader stressed that the entire site be w3c and bobby compliant. Alternative human interfaces depend on standards.
I agree. I also believe extended warranties provide an intangible peace of mind. It's nice to know that if it does break you'll have some recovery... much like an automobile purchase.
The electric guitar should be there. Most electric guitar pickups do not receive acoustic vibrations to be sent to an amplifier. They receive electromagnetic vibrations from the strings. The sound is produced mechanically, but is not captured through a microphone. Some microphonic pickups do exist, but aren't as common.
There should at least be mention of the MIDI Guitar (Did it exist in their time frame?). It allows your guitar to sound like one of your many MIDI instruments...

Problem Solved.
I would hope that Lloyd's denied the claim due to the fact that Cunard Lines had no insurable interest in the HMS Titanic. White Star Lines owned the ship. Hull and Machinery Insurance was paid by several Insurers who reinsured with Lloyds'.

I recall Fender producing MIDI guitars. I couldn't seem to find them on their website.
The last result should be for "Google.com" and not "Apple.com". Sorry
Take a look at what internic.net gave me on some of these domains....
