I have crashed Firefox a few times. And no I didn't try to make it crash, it just did.
You can probably find someone who have crashed both and someone who have crashed neither. Without further information about the crash, feedback on what you have crashed and how many times you have crahed it is pretty much meaningless information.
If you are running Windows XP SP2 there are only one patch you need to install. And in that patch there are only two security cavets that affect XP SP2. Drag and Drop Vulnerability - CAN-2004-0839
Which is very hard to exploit. Plug-in Navigation Address Bar Spoofing Vulnerability - CAN-2004-0843
Which is the most critical one but still hard to exploit in a useful way.
Now if you are running Windows 2000 you need to get your ass over to Windows Update right now..:)
I've been using a backpack I got from Microsoft. The best one I ever owned. Lots of space and pockets. There are also pockets for your cellphone and ipaq.:)
Don't know who actually makes them though?
I think that the AC actually got a point here, sort of.
What Linux needs is a ultrastable vm that comes with all Linux distros. A vm that just runs and get you what you need to get started.
Right now they are not stable, not compatible with anything and full of crap.

It's not the first time FBI agents get full access to european countrys. Why do they get that? Everyone is afraid of the big bad psycho bully...
The only significant danger is enabling the steering wheel lock while turning off your ignation at speed. Watch out if you turn off your ignition while moving - you don't want to mistakenly LOCK your steering wheel while at speed.
This actually happend in my town. A stupid guy turned off the ignition to save gas in a slope. He also pulled the key out of the ignition...
Well the steering wheel locked and he hit a tree head on killing some of the passengers.

How about not giving all of your users admin rights? It works, I know.

My friend, when he was a student, simply replied when the inspectors asked if they cound enter: "go get the cops". And then he shut the door.

They have only blocked people comming from slashdot. Copy paste link and it should work.
If there is no problem this shouldn't be a problem.
.9 might be faster than .8 but IE is still much faster than Firefox I'm sad to say. At least on slower computers(like mine).
