    They are tested often and must be re-certified every so often. Just because you can't see the source code doesn't mean you can't check the results against a known value.

    I had a speeding ticket thrown out once because the radar gun failed a calibration test later that day, as did every other driver that officer ticketed that day. Same goes for breathalyzers.

    I don't want to get of NAT. Instead of having to firewall each device, I have a single point (the router).

    NAT makes it easy.

    It's not meant to discourage theft, it's meant to protect your data.

    If the HDD is encrypted, you can lock the thief out.

    You can launch one of these grenades in a matter of moments. A flying drone might be 300mi away and sitting on a runway.

    I spend 90% of my time on a laptop. It's pretty rare to see me on a desktop of any sort.

    I'm not a programmer and rarely use a computer at work. I spend my day in a lab with books and vials.

    For reading short clips, web pages, news articles, etc., it's fine. That's all-together different from a book or a novel.

    For sitting and reading a book? You got to be shitting me. If there is anything over a few pages long that I have to read. I print it out.

    Great acceleration and no range. I don't care if it takes me 12 or 20 seconds to reach 60mph if I can go 300mi/charge, with the heat, headlights and windsheild wipers on.

    DST causes it get dark earlier. An hour earlier.

    The idea is to have it get light earlier, not dark later. Remember "fall back"?
