  1. What an odd comment to make. At no point did I say a single thing about Republicans.

Wow, some one with ideas about how to stop illegal immigration that are actually sensible. Making e-verify checks mandatory for employers is an infinitely more effective and cheaper means of stopping illegal immigration than that stupid money pit of a wall.

So how do you make sure a competitor doesn't come along and disrupt your signal?

Don't get me wrong, I hear what you're saying about big players using government to keep competition out but it also goes the other way as well. My example of Sonic above is a perfect example of that. They started in the town next to where I lived in the 90's and the only reason they were able to compete when people started abandoning dial-up in favor of broadband is because of FCC rules which certainly weren't written to stifle competition.

Now Sonic serves quite a lot of Northern California and is in LA as well https://decisiondata.org/cover...

  8. Then you have assumed incorrectly.

While modern technology certainly poses challenges to the First Amendment, what constitutes "speech" in the context of "free speech" has remained fairly consistent through out time.

On the other hand, a gun circa 1776 has an incredibly different impact on society than any firearm made today.

  10. "Wild hyperbole like that is why fewer and fewer people take the Left seriously about anything any more."

Keep thinking that please. Trump has just named a supreme court justice who is likely to help role back abortion and gay marriage which are two issues a current and growing majority of Americans support. American conservatives are currently on the winning end of losing fights just like they once were with slavery and civil rights.

"What a fucking douche. There are millions of people who own firearms and don't shoot children. There are drivers who intentionally run over children. [independent.co.uk] Are you going to forbid kit car plans because someone might use them for killing children? There are legitimate uses of a weapon. Self defense, hunting (legalized and regulated), sport (skeet shooting), and of course on the firing range."

"What a fucking douche", I can think of far worse adjectives for your idiocy.

For starters, current 3d printed guns are worthless for anything you list here other than "self defense". "Self defense" of course being code for "killing people" because if a gun can't kill some one then it is useless for self defense.

Next, the whole "cars kill people too" thing is the most obvious idiocy. Cars are a tool for moving people that are incredibly productive in said capacity and can also be used to kill people. A 3d printed gun is really only good for killing people.

"You and your fucking comment are as sick as the deranged asswipes who shoot at innocent people, children included. Fucking retard."

Finally, all you pro gun nuts do for America is insure that there is a wealth of guns available to anyone who wants to shoot some body. There's a very real reason why mass shootings are an American thing and that reason is that there are so many Americans who are willfully ignorant in regards to what firearms are doing to our society that we can't solve a very simple problem.

Also, if I haven't gotten to you in regards to guns, you come off as a "Fucking retard" with all of your name calling and the like. Pro tip: people who want to be taken seriously shouldn't resort to profanity and insults as the crux of their argument.

Do you build your own infrastructure or do you use AT&T's (or some one else's) like Sonic ( http://www.latimes.com/busines... ) does? I ask because given the huge costs for a small company in hooking up a hundred square mile region I feel it's quite likely that you use some other company's infrastructure that's only available to you because the FCC forces companies like AT&T to do so. If that's the case then your whole anti government post sort of falls apart.

  20. You're not really using any critical thinking here. Back to the question I asked before.

"Why would Trump, who has no problems saying fuck you to anyone or anything, put off leaving the Paris Agreements until the agreed upon date if he didn't have to? I'm pretty sure he's got a few legal experts around him to help with stuff like that."

The fact that he is following the rules for pulling out of the treaty pretty clearly implies we're bound by those rules. Why else would he follow the rules? Realizing this I then searched for why that was and the snopes article was near the top of the search results. You can laugh at it all you want but it sites alright sources and siting snopes is a far sharper move than not actually thinking about what you're saying.
