The Christian Peoples Party in Norway gained power with only 8% of the votes. They got the prime minister of norway and several other ministers, all with just 8% of the votes.. Hurray for democracy..
... GWB--and the Bush family in general--are quite religiously moderate.
Perhaps more in the direction "worship an ancient god" religious path, like when they participate on "the cremation of care" at the Bohemian Growe, worshipping the Great Owl Moloch? (lots if info out there).
Pretending to be good christian can give you the extra votes you need.
The history is filled with these types of marketing schemes. In the 1930s there was a product called Listerine, made to treat throat infections. A guy called Gerald Lambert made a marketing scheme, "inventing" a problem ("bad breath") and offered the solution (his product), the birth of mouthwash products. Ref:

Another less mention Nazi "tech" is their knowledge on propaganda and the manipulation of the public mind. After all, they did manage to spellbind the entire population of Germany.
Btw, like most rocketscientists, most of these nazi scientists who were involved in propaganda research, was "relocated" to one of the winning nations.
It's a win-win for Bush even if they are forged.
The media will spin it easily to support Bush. Maybe the terrorists manufactured it to hurt the Bush campaign, yes, thats it.. the terrorists..!
I dont really see FoxNews/MSNBC/etc reporting that someone within the Bush campaign has released forged documents, either its the terrorists or the "anti-Bush" people.
You wont see this on FoxNews:

How do we know that there isn't any better alternatives "out there". We'd like to think of ourselves as *evolved* (lol), why do we still stick with a system hundreds of years old? Implementing a better system is perhaps more difficult, just as difficult implementing a "better" system (ie. "democracy") in Iraq..
Personally I'd favour something in the sorts of direct (every voter has power over decisions taken) decentralized (more power to local areas) democracy..

Invent a "problem", then offer a solution.
