    I would love to kow how much open source code there is in this thing. It could easily be FreeBSD, but the I suppose wifi wold work.

    Apple sold a shitload of iBooks and the like, but most probably have been dumpstered by now.

    I see quite a lot of them around actually but I am sure the owners are happy to be running macos on them, and linux is stil available for ppc.

    a minimum font size for disclaimers shown on television

    I worked for a company which ran a 1900 service (in aus that means you pay with your phone bill). The law said we had to put disclaimers in 4 point type when we advertised on big roadside signs. We used a bigger font for our disclaimers.

    I have a friend who worked for HP in a management role during the 1990s. Every week her team would decide to hold a meeting and to accomodate the members from around the world they would do it in Hawaii. When I last spoke to that person she was praying for the money to run out.

    Actually when you go to rob someone taking a gun (since they can't legally own one) is the best move to both passify the home owner and / or murder them if needed

    No because in countries with few guns, using a gun will make the police really pay attention to you. They will put 100 guys on the job and they won't stop until they have caught you.. It makes you stand out from the crowd, and as criminal you really don't want to do that.

    The opera mobile browser works by offloading a lot of work to a server run by opera. This would give facebook access to everything which goes through every mobile opera browser.

    I would love to see a way to test android apps directly in my desktop rather than using a virtual machine. And I don't see why it should be so hard. The phone interfaces are mocked on the VM anyway.

    LIke it or not, GPS is integrated into ATC infrastructure. Jamming like this has a direct economic impact because separation standards need to acount for degraded positioning data. Increase the separation between aircraft and you reduce the throughput of the affected airspace.
