I don't think they're adding ePub support to the Kindle. See:

"Your existing collection of downloadable eBooks will be available to Kindle customers. As you add new eBooks to your collection, those titles will also be available in Kindle format for lending to Kindle and Kindle reading apps. Your library will not need to purchase any additional units to have Kindle compatibility. This will work for your existing copies and units."
I wouldn't assume that anything that Dweezil is doing is any kind of predictor for what Frank might have done, but I'm pretty sure whatever he's using is running on Windows. Unfortunately I can't recall the exact source, but one of his blog posts (http://www.dweezilzappaworld.com/posts/54) does mention some hardware that doesn't appear to have vendor supplied drivers for Linux.
I got a kick out of this story, I was on hold with Dell regarding a bad motherboard when I came across it. We've had over 30% of our Optiplex gx280s and gx270 that have needed their motherboards replaced.
Not sure it's the same, but I have a Motorola BMC9012 (Moxi from Digeo - http://www.digeo.com) and it is pretty nice. I just went back to cable from sattelite service where I had a DISH 508 PVR. The interface on the Moxi is much better (season pass type recording features, USB port for connecting a digital camera, games, etc). The Moxi also records high def.
Fox News Should Be Pulled Apart By Wild Weasels.
What did wild weasels ever do to you?
Ripped his flesh?
Don't know what normal is, but obviously the only prescription is more cowbell.

No. It's time for a "Freedom Czar."
Overdrive is going to be making Project Gutenberg titles available for checkout by users of libraries that subscribe to the Overdrive service. It's currently in beta and being tested at the Boston Public Library. There won't be any limit on the number of checkouts for Project Gutenberg titles. http://overdriveblogs.com/library/2010/08/10/project-gutenberg-ebooks-available-on-%E2%80%98virtual-branch%E2%80%99-websites/

http://www.prismiq.com/ They have a pretty active support/developer community here ->http://www.prismiq.org
Interesting. For what it's worth, I have Daemon Tools installed and running all the time, and I've never had any trouble playing Far Cry.
