Not true. This object model is the best I've ever worked with, hands down. The ease at which complex tasks can be performed is astounding. It may be 1990s tech, but every other framework has a lot to learn from this one.
Including the part where it says "https://www.ebay.com" in the address bar?
Actually, some phishing sites can do just that using international characters in the domain name. For example, a lower-case Cyrillic 'a' looks almost the same as the lowercase Latin 'a'. The only difference is the Unicode.
This problem only exists with Firefox, and can be turned off easily, but it does exist.
Try using BitComet. It's fast, doesn't consume too much memory and doesn't have ads. It has some nice features too (like being able to set priority on individual files within a download).
For all you know, the dangers of tobacco are an inherent quality of the plant itself...although I must admit it seems likely that inhaling the smoke of any plant isn't too good for you.
I gave it up and quit. Haven't smoked in years, but all my friends still do.

The swf file format is well-documented and available for download from Macromedia.
Also, there is now an open-source compiler that can produce the swf bytecode from actionscript source.
So, your last statement about no specifications being available is just flat out not true.
Yeah, I used to have internet on UTM campus (live off campus now), and it was TERRIBLE. 10 gig download per month or something. I would sometimes kill my internet after a week.
Well, it's definately a nicer language to write (and VS.NET just makes it so FUN to code)...but to go as far as saying it's better?
It's just another tool.
It's said that a third of Canadians use MSN. Although those numbers are sure to be inflated (probably based on downloads, not actual users), there is some truth there. Everyone I know is an MSN user.
Don't get me wrong, I like Google as much as the next guy, but Microsoft had this drag and drop business going with my.msn.com way before Google did, although it only works with IE. These were early applications of the new web parts framework in ASP.NET 2.0.
But microsoft has my.msn.com WAY before google, which had all sorts of column dragging stuff in it.
It was kind of buggy though, and didn't work in firefox.
OT, but because of your post, I finally understand the significance of ^H. It's a backspace!!!
Or "screamcast". Yeah...that's sweet.
Sweet signature.

I can't find one for Objective C. I've been looking.
Specialize, and you breed in weakness.
I wish I had some mod points, because I want to mod you down badly, you close minded fool.
Dude, Ikea instructions rock. I actually feel excited about assembling something so that I can see the interesting ways they present the steps.
You arrogant idiots. All you do is nitpick at everything. It's wrong, don't deny it. You're not paying for something that costs money.
I'm not sure if you're kidding or not, but I for one actually believe that...well, maybe not the uprising. Possible I suppose.

Who said anything about tobacco?

Actually, it can...quite easily. It's just not fast enough to do anything complicated.

I'm sorry, I know this is totally trolling, but FEARCE...bahahaha

You might be joking...but if not, it's called an indeterminate progress bar. It doesn't actually show progress.

You should check out ActionStep. It's an opensource ActionScript 2.0 implementation of Apple's AppKit.
