OK now repeat 500 times each day like all the good little slashdrones do.
Also, I have just recieved a patent for that joke, so anyone who dares use it or any other variation can expect a letter from my attorney.

Anyway Slashdot should be trying to help Mozilla.org and Firefox, not trying to sensationalize every change. /. should not help out anyone, they should report without bias.
In fact, it quite possibly triggered it.
You mean in the same way England triggered the bombing of London during WWII by declaring war on Germany?
Your right, they should have just stayed out of it.
The "War on Terror" is a meaningless phrase used to justify anything that the US feels like doing in another country.
Perhaps you could tell that to the families of those who died on 911.
ultra-conservative Christian lunatic
So are you saying that all Christians are lunatics or that all ultra-conservatives are Christian?
How does the overturn of Roe vs Wade affect someone in the sense of being a nerd?
I also do not see how internet wiretaps would affect the average nerd. Maybe the.1% Maybe.
Frodo: I received this from the sheriff today, I can't read it. What language is it?
Gandalf: It is in the language of the "lawyer" which I will not utter here.
In the common tongue it says...
One subpoena to rule them all,
One subpoena to find them,
One subpoena to bring them all,
And in the courtroom bind them.
We don't value anything more than individual liberty.
Seems like they forgot about that when they made the ruling last week about siezing land from the rightful owner when it would "benefit" the surrounding neighborhood.

Not trying to be rude, but your academic achievements may not count as much as you think. Practical experience counts far more. My past experience tells me that I cannot judge someone by their education. Many of the best and brightest people I have worked with did not have any, or very little, college education. Also I have worked with many people with Masters degrees who are complete idiots. And vice-versa.
I am not knocking you or your education, just trying to prepare you for what you may find.
I am sorry I just don't see what is so frightening, I am no huge fan of goverment intrusion, but I think the Nazi hyperbole is over the top.
The very fact that the PA is being debated openly differentiates the US with Nazi Germany.
Your Y2K point is taken, except that the next time something like that comes along, I think people will be skeptical, remembering how over blown the hype was.
The question I have wondered for some time is if Japan had an atomic bomb (They didn't, but they did have a small Uranium enrichment effort)would they have hesitated to use it?
Didn't you know that all good ideas came from Apple. They invented the GUI, the Mouse, etc....

So there were no terrorist attacks prior to our actions in Iraq/Afghanistan?
Just go ahead and keep your head in the sand Mr. Chamberlain.

I didn't think she believed in God.
"One nation under the Supreme Court" Yikes !!

If the vote in florida had been allowed to finish
I think you meant to say, if the Democratic fraud had been allowed to finish...
I used to say the same thing, until I realized that any story that can be spun by the kooky left will be at home on /.
I'll bet Bush will nominate someone far less controversial than Bolton, it will be a "change up" that no one will expect.
