I am NOT AGAINST hybrid technology, but right now I am not interested in buying a car due to their price. I for one, like to work on my own vehicles, and with all the computers onboard a hybrid, God Almighty wouldn't be able to repair one. Second, they are way too expensive. A VERY GOOD ALTERNATIVE IS ENHANCING TRADITIONAL INTERNAL COMBUSTION JUST LIKE THE CIVIC HX, A MPG SUPER HERO DOES. IT GETS 44 MPG YET PUTS OUT A GOOD 117 HP, AND COSTS A MERE 13K NEW! I say keep working on this new lean burn technology w/ direct injection THAT is the way of the future (plus you can actually work on it yourself!).
Billy G has got to realize that he can develop all the DRM he wants and can restrict people from listening to music all he wants as well. But one thing Billy G can't restrict is innovation: something essentially to the true computer nerd. Innovation can bypass anything in life as long as the innovator has a goal and is dedicated to it. Although this DRM --> soundcard wav isn't the best method, someday someone somewhere will innovate further and finally crack Billy's girlfriend Janus.. I mean come on, its not hard to steal a nerd's girlfriend.....
I had never used feodra before Core 3 Final and let me just say its the best because:
1. X.org recognizes and used my ATI Radeon 9200
2. Fast, Stable
3. FREEEEEEEE

This definately would be tough... maybe eBay for older components? I see ads in the paper advertising those sempron processors + mobo's for like 55 bucks all the time... but basically for a 100 bucks you ain't gonna be playing FarCry;-)
The hybrid technology is in its infancy. The only time I personally will ever buy into it will be when the following happens:
1. HP Rating is ~ 250 HP +
2. Battery Technology Better so I don't have to replace batteries every few years which costs thousands
3. The cars actually look cool: to me the prius looks like a tree hugger mobile. Give it some class!
Till then, a 1967 Yellow Camaro RS 454 Big Block is my dream... its my dream car but hell in my dreams gas ain't $2.00 a gallon.... till then my 4 cylinder car that gets 25 mpg is fine for me...

If he hates it so much, I personally would be honored to buy him a first class one way ticket to anyone on Earth as long as he doesn't come back. There has been a person in my family in every single war since the American Revolution, and they want what I want, Freedom, which I believe we are currently protecting with our actions in the middle east. I live an hour fromt he Mexico border where thousands cross over illegally to come here to FREEDOM and PROSPERITY. These people are willing to risk their lives everyday to come here, so obviously there must be some good here in America so God Bless it.
