It goes way beyond the software networking stack, by necessity that's only a very small slice of the pie. You're looking at a single layer and talking about implementing the model. The model covers everything down to the wire. The model isn't broken by focusing on one layer, it's broken by people who focus on that one layer and decide the rest of the system is broken.
God locked us away in a garden, told us never to eat of the tree and never to leave. Then he sent his servant in to force exactly that to happen. Sorry, bro, he's a scumbag. From the very beginning.
'allah' and 'god' are synonymous - they are two different names for exactly the same thing. The various sects of Christanity, Judaism, and Islam love to hide that little fact, but they're all the same damn religion.
Buddha was never a God, but a man.
Confuscious was never a God, but a man.
I'm not sure what your point was here.
God desires a relationship with his children, but he did so by kicking them out and blaming them.
There was no free will involved in the Garden of Eden. God put Adam and Eve in a room, told them not to do something, then sent someone in to get them to do it.
God made his choice, to bring Man down. The only thing it had to do with us, is keeping us down. He was a scumbag pretending to love his children, until he finally got sick of them and made it look like WE did it.
Eve didn't make a choice. Eve was persuaded to make that choice by a servant of God. The entire idea of Humanity choosing to fall is a fabrication by people who think the asshole is the protagonist.
God created a situation wherein he imprisoned two humans and ordered a servant to convince them to break his rules. That's entrapment, false imprisonment, etc etc. God is not worth worship. He is scum.
The problem is that the situation you've described could not have been possible without the Straight, One Man One Woman Marriage Insistent Religious Folk who used to be polygamous but WE DON'T TALK ABOUT THAT. There is a whole hell of a lot of political and historical baggage in this situation, we see the gay marriage supporters being ruthless because they actually have to be. You've tried to distill the love out of marriage, but you're doing it wrong. A domestic partnership is something different, which is actually a problem and not one caused by the people who are being forbidden rights. Marriage is a contract, which shouldn't be restricted by irrelevant data such as gender. You've hit on a lot of good points but you looked at the people fighting to fix it (gay marriage rights) and demonized them because you think the rights should be MORE universal.
The only difference between what you say and reality, is that in reality the gay agenda is the only thing that will keep us from burning in hell. God was a charlatan, Satan exposed his lies for what they were. Billions of people world-wide have misinterpreted the message and decided to deify the villain in this old book and treat him like the supreme being of the universe. Then they don't quite catch how strong the evil the deeds they perform in his name are. But they created this society where there's a whole hell of a lot of hate, and it loves to get directed at anyone who they want to paint as in inferior. And some of them are violent, evil people who commit serious violent crimes against others, in the name of that being. And a lot of those victims, in the modern world, are the wholesome gays who are doing the real work of the true supreme being.
I just wish they had made this decision regarding JavaScript the moment the contributions came to light. I kinda get the impression this guy was one of the few people in the organization qualified to step up, especially given that one of the things I heard being an issue was that he was procured internally. Unfortunately, as people are finding out more and more, being disrespectful and hateful of people actually does have real life real world consequences. This situation was one of those consequences. Paula Deen's situation was one of those consequences. Duck Hunter Guy's situation was one of those consequences.
It's really amusing to me how readily this is lost on people.
The media frenzy conveniently ignores that Brendan Eich's name is on the foundations of the modern web. If we were to demonize this man's contributions to the world as we know it today the way that they've demonized him as the CEO, say goodbye to the technology that makes it possible to spread the word in the way that they have.
They absolutely were professionals. These were professional programmers and content creators who work out in the real world where they've tried very hard to cut out the overbearing boss who doesn't know how to do his job. Why didn't they just get actors for their GAME JAM if they wanted to shoot a commercial? This wasn't a commercial, this wasn't an advertisement reel, this was an event that Pepsi made a deal to sponsor. Then Pepsi's guy decided it was his commercial, and made it so the professional content creators who were there for a game jam were treated as if they were actors in a Pepsi commercial. No, the marketing droids did not do their jobs.
Again, you're not doing your job if you don't treat your workers with respect. No shit if you bring in people who aren't actors for a gig they have specialized skills for and then expect them to put on a marketer's act, who didn't do their job?
Let me put it this way: There is absolutely no surprise that there is a significant failure rate if you try to treat the workers like that. That's why people in the real world are laughing at the people who believe this shit and thusly drive that failure rate sky high.
It also goes in the reverse, as well. You can't pull something like that and honestly expect professionals to just take it. Pepsi blew this one, big time.
Ultimately undesirable, perhaps, but I get the impression it's more that economists don't understand some basic laws of reality given how hard they want to push a particular economic model which clearly isn't all they make it out to be.
While it is possible to trim XP down and squeeze it into 512MB, my own experience tells me that it's foolish to consider it to run well in 512MB. The very idea throws me back to a slightly earlier time, upgrading a Windows 2000 machine from 64MB to 128MB of RAM. Coincidentally, if you've trimmed XP down to fit into the low memory environment, you've basically got Windows 2000...
I think there was a John Candy movie about that

God created a situation and sent in a servant to force an outcome. Not free will. Entrapment.
If you put two people in a garden, tell them not to do something, then have your servant come in and pressure them to do it anyway, that's entrapment.
Satan's a servant of God, therefore God orchestrated the fall entirely.
I guarantee it.

herp derp ANTI gay agenda herp derp
The need to save a few bytes is clearly a higher priority than the need to have the code actually function.

Maybe people should be paying attention to the sources of the crap they're trying to wedge into our stable systems.
Humans are naive, Corporations are outright delusional. Shills are silly.
Ex-fucking-zactly? kinda the whole goddamn point, anger-bro. They ain't doing their jobs and no one would reasonably argue that they are.
