In an interview given to a portuguese magazine, Manilla Road's vocalist, Mark Shelton, said that they kept the publishing rights. Apparently that's what keeps the money pouring =) As I understand it, any label that wishes to release their albums, needs to pay the band.
BTW, Manilla Road is an american metal band.
