I would like to qualify my statment about failure.

They might have made a ton of money. You can still tell its fake. Alot of the movies are shooting for realizm. They have advanced computer generted characters but still you can pick them out of a crowd.

More realizem would be nice, and this might translate into better manipulation into video game fields.

well if they can get the power to do it so be it.

Every computer generted graphic movie thus far has failed but no one is totaly sure why. Final fantasy though excelent with the eye popping candy you realize that is is just a computer after 5 mins of enteraction. I dont see this comming to true fruition as of yet. But yes it would make for alot better FX. Some times i just watch a movie for the FX.

The thing that worrys me most is that from most films eye candy takes up for true plot. Now if we can make a computer that can make really good plots the movies will rock.

But this does sound alot better then bill hicks idea of using the termanaly ill and people sentanced to death to do this work. Though it still is kinda appealing.

Kudos to any one that can pull it off am sure they will who knows one day we can all make gore fest as a plug in to adobe premere.

Every one has a digital dream. Something they would like to see happen. Personaly mine is a real stable and supple 5mps board band. And that is just short term. The problem is ethics , and inforcing of ethics so that not only do persons that pirite but also large companys do not take advantage of populas.

Some times i cant watch tv , I have to watch DVDs becouse the amount of commircals take up so much its hard to follow the plot of a show. I have watched gundam X on the computer and enjoyed it.
I couldn't get a dvd of it or else i would have.

A few more things have to happen before one can really say this is a true threat to tv though.

    1.Higher speed dependable connections.
2.Large and or better file flormats.
3.A system to suport the shows.

To support the larger and or more fequent downloads people have to share and well they have to have a good high speed connection or else 30 mins of video tolls up to 10 years in download time. Maybe we need a better , maybe we need it stronger. Privacy, dependable , larger pipes. once this happends it is going to be hard to stop even movie trading.

Point two. As for this i have downloaded some real player flormateed things , and the screen is the size of a postit note. If you enlarge it is to grainy. after this experiance i started going for the larger downloads. The quality needs improvment. MP3 has come along way , now video is in demand. how long till we get high quality digital streams? TV quaility is not the best but it isnt the worst. and how will this be affected by HDTV and dtv? how will it be ratified. Could you infact copywrite protect digital shows?

    Third.
Could you set up a company where when you pay for cable you could spend 10 bucks more to elementate commircals? I mean there trying to add more as is. This is just a new annoyance to me. I would pay for ad free cable. I like tv and i like some of the shows that come out. I dont like making starving artists out of them but i also do not enjoy corparate time warner making me pay for more commical time if i go with cable or dss.

So far i support the swapping becouse i cant get some shows out where i live at the moment. I dont even mind the commircials if i get content i would enjoy watching.

This will be one to watch.

I know that alot of breakthrows in computing and hard ware have happend do to people just fooling around. This could if used right turn into something workable in another feild , maybe your next SAT prompter will be a camera and use of specal pens so it can track cheaters.

I was in a group a while back that did things on this scale or better. None of us hold degrees and when the cops come we are commiting vandalism/terrorism. The only differnece it seems is where you go to school.

I am by no means putting down these hacks for these pranks are great to read about. Aswell they do involve alot of skill.

But i would like to say there are many other groups of people that put things out that are bigger and more chalanging then a banner. As of yet my group was disbanded.

Now pranks are behind me as I am getting older and the law does not enjoy my jokes.
