Hmnm, my girlfriend is looking forward to it even more then I am
My 25-year-old sister is into those games too, although I don't think she's topped me in looking foreward to doom, since she started in the Quake III era. It seems like it's more a kid thing. That's all I was saying.
By using simple smil commands in a URL, a CBS news report can become a short clip of George Bush saying "I can't do my job" (the third track on this playlist)
There's a funnier version of this at http://www.ebaumsworld.com/presaddress2.shtml
Unfair editing is a concept as old as speaking.
Another thing, as I think someone mentioned, is that a lot of PC games are FPS's and RTS's--which don't exactly gear themselves towards every member of the family. Hard to imagine my 50-year-old dad getting into Doom 3
It's only bad if the government uses surveillance to impose a certain thought process, which is what the 1984 novel was about. The only thing that would compound it is if they at the same time limited our access of knowledge. Not a reality yet, but we might not want to give them the chance for that.
What's the HUD going to look like for this one. The trailer seems to not want to load on my machine. I hope it has the original Doom mug shot for your health. I was sad when ID took that out of Quake II.
"Well, I guess I'll just have to go outside, or talk to a girl, or something..."
Outside? OOOHHH you mean the poorly-climate-controlled blue room with the daystar!
"After-tax corporate income is at its highest level since 1929. Here's a test...what bad thing happened in 1929?"
A famous stock analyst predicted that the great depression would be over in the next year....exactly one year before it reached its depths.

...To play multiplayer and not have to actually pause and text chat. I always get killed doing that.
I'm assuming by "attract artists" you mean hire artists to create the user interface, not leave the interface up to the user.
Isn't this synonymous for saying that the market for computer software has grown so much that all sorts of people are using it?

Like in FPS, watch them kill each other, then run in and finish them both off.
My "friend" who went to a community college built an LED display that just counts in binary for his FYP....Pathetic
If you could use the expandable shapes like the circles and rectangles and stuff in most paint programs and the machine would just make it?
Photoshop had color!
