The "scientific paradigm" is nothing more that the systematic application of skepticism in the search to find the truth. In other words, "why should I believe something just because you do?"

That's why England's ideas are so intriguing: they propose a physical mechanism that is not entirely dependent on chance. In the end, it's all physics.
