    I am an old fashioned pirate, I just sing out loud the songs I hear. Like in the old days. No DRM that can shut me up.

    Ah, I haven't read TFA and I haven't looked them on the iTMS but I know it's not really my thing because I don't like bands. Anyway I hope that they get a lot of sales from this exposure and won't give CDex much trouble.

    Given that Zeta is aiming at the general desktop... I just don't see them managing to get enough strng application support to really pull that off.

    I haven't done any research but I imagine that beos is
    1.more secure than windows
    2.Easier to use/setup than *nix and win.
    3.lightweight => low system requirements
    4.Less complex => less to break

    This sounds ideal for people who don't know much about computers and just want to check mail, browse the net, could do with a 500MHz cpu and don't care that photoshop isn't available for their system; eg, mom, pop and older people.

    I just don't understand the total fascination with anime around here. I don't think it's dumb or undeserving; I just don't think it's worthy of the unwavering high praise it gets. And another thing, is there really a high correlation between geeks/nerds and anime? In my experience the answer is yes, even though I personally hate it. I don't understand why this is.

    Well, I started to watch anime because I find 'real' movies becoming increasingly disappointing. You also have to understand that not all anime is the same, there are many variations. I maybe only like 10% of all anime but it's still worth seeking out those 10%.

    The second is merely incomplete. As speakers we may use the language as you describe (for example, "Bob is going to the store. I want to go with."), but that hardly makes it correct;

    Unless ofcourse you're writing speak language (eg a fiction story). It would be nice to have an option to ignore such soft errors when it appears between quotes, for example: [ Alice nodded and said "I want to go with." ] This is very complex because the checker needs to follow the conversation between Alice and the other person(s). Such option would be very helpfull to reduce the number of false positives.
