I would disagree with you when you say that most Protestant fundamentalists use the King James Bible. AFAIK, most of the ones I know use the New International Version (NIV), although many have started using the English Standard Version (ESV) since it's recent release.
You do realise that all good Catholics should believe that evolution is correct. Pope John Paul II himself has declared that evolution is 'more than just a hypothesis'.

can I just ask who is persecuting who here?
how is what I said a troll? They claim on their site that you can play Doom 3 on their machine, but I seriously doubt the 5200 Ultra could run it, or at least, not playably.
and the Ti4400 is a fair bit faster than the 5200 Ultra as well
That's a 1.6 or 1.8GHz G5 processor, 533 or 600MHz frontside bus, 256MB DDR SDRAM running at 400MHz and NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 Ultra with 64MB graphics memory. So you'll be able to play Worlds of Warcraft, Doom III and other fantastic entertainment.
yes, I realise that this machine is definitely not designed for this purpose, but seriously though, how can they say that you can play Doom 3 on this?
because I have great faith in the technological genius that's out there
Yes, but which side are these technological genius' fighting for?
I have said, technology is what causes the problem, and technology will be the salvation of the problem. I really do believe we can stuff enough algorithms in a movie that only the dedicated hackers can spend the time and effort to try to plumb through those 1,000 algorithms to try to find a way to beat it. In time, we'll be able to do this, because I have great faith in the technological genius that's out there.
Is it just me, or does this sound really stupid? How are normal dvd players going to be able to play these non-standard dvd's? And besides, if you can play it, it is possible to record.
Assuming the average skyscraper is approximately 600ft tall (they need to be at least 500ft) and 175ft wide (a wild guess), to cover a building in this 'glass' would cost 175*600*4*45 = $18900000
Is $19 million worth of glass really what you would want to get?
How much revenue would advertising bring to the site? Would it be worth the degraded image that advertising will bring? Do they really need that extra money?
sibling robort Elvis
What's a robort?
It will still be available for Longhorn, just not when it is initially released.

/brain implodes
oh no, infinite loop...
You're linking a 600MB file from slashdot?
(oh, and I'm getting 503's for the searches)
discussions ranged on weather the A64 would even be overclockable at all.
/. editors :-)~
Or are they just edited by the
They're are actually capped to 40GB per a month.
I'm stuck on 1500Kb/s (256up) with 20gig a month for $50... and that's considered the best deal in the country now... it's not fair

not invented, discovered
also, Leibniz also independantly devised the system of calculus at the same time
doesn't a reduction of 100% mean it has been reduced to 0ms?

Is it just me or does that look like it could fall over very easily?
It has a small base and a fairly chunky body, and I for one wouldn't want to accidentally knock it over too many times.

well my TI83+ does 50! more or less instantly
although it only does x! for values of x up to 69

let's just say I go to a school which has wireless internet access : D
Can someone please instruct me on how to set up Tor when I am behind a http proxy which requires a username and password?
(And before you say RTFM, I already have, and I couldn't find anything relevent.)
would these chips with eFUSE be able to be overclocked, without fear of damaging the chip?
I believe I also have an experience of putting in a CPU around the wrong way...
all I know is that they glow : P

when we can just /. his server? :P
true, but I meant that you were under no obligation to pay for it (as in, it's legally free to use)
(btw, if I had money free (ie, not a student) I would happily donate to some OSS projects, such as OO.o)
why not offer them a low-cost Linux version of Office?
why would any linux user use MS Office, especially when they have to pay for it?
considering heaps of people use OpenOffice.org and the like on Windows, I really don't see many people using MS Office under linux.
