sadly... I once wrote a webserver in PHP
didn't run for very long, the php apache module killed it after 30 seconds, but those were the most glorious 30 seconds ever

IANAB (i am not a biologist) but I'm pretty sure that dead viruses are ones that do not have the DNA/RNA (whichever depending upon virus). Thus, they are just the protein shell.
Well, looking at the word "transflective" I can only guess that it's a mixture of "reflective" and "transmissive", meaning that it relfects some light in order to illuminate the display, but has a backlight to boost the output.
I don't see a problem with the drive being at an angle/not being flat. As long as the user isn't adjusting the monitor tilt very rapidly during use, it shouldn't make a difference. This ties in with gyroscopes and such. Just think about a portable cd player. One can position it however one wants, and as long as one doesn't go and move/rotate it around during playback, it won't skip. Same thing here.
There are times when I'm working on my personal project (a game, not surprisingly) that I just stop after getting one feature debugged, and I end up doing anything but work on it for weeks on end.
The way that I get myself back on track is by concentrating only on the code that must get done and then I worry about making it more robust later on. I sometimes find myself worrying about the content. This is A Bad Thing(tm) to do while programming a game engine. It's a lot better just to focus on the code and the functionality first.
Obviously, there are times when I physically am unable to program for various reasons (real life and all that). But, no one said that being an open source game developer was easy.
I'd love to post my game URL here, but I'd rather not have my ISP think there's a DDoS attacking me. It's called Ether though, it's a web-based MMORPG. (there's a very uninformative page for it on SF.net [projectname: ethermmorpg])

No, 100% of slashdottings were caused by slashdot.
Where in the world are you getting your math from?
