A very long time ago, I read a short story about a programmer who is given a 1Meg upgrade for his C64 (I think) by aliens. He was totaly amazed when his trusty C64 boots up with "1048578 BASIC Bytes Free" instead of "38911 BASIC Bytes Free".
Today I could lose many times that much RAM and not even notice
.. my ZX81 only cost me £200 20 years ago ! OK, it doesn't do all the fancy things the new machines can do ( Email, Browsing, Word processing, Spreadsheets, Databases, Sound, CD-ripping..) but it does all the things I need ( Door stop or ammo to sling at next doors cat when it craps on my lawn).
.. I start to view MS as the spoilt brat who thinks it should have every other kids pocket money. "You can view all the news you want, so long as its ours"
.. elderly customers started to ask if I could install it on their PCs instead of Windows (Which I gladly did). I also get people in pubs asking about it too especialy when they have been infected by the lastest malware, I think these get the point across.
As the body is mostly water could we use this as some weird transportation device ?
Would it just move the water and leave the non-water bits behind - could be amusing to watch if it was done on someone you don't like. Instant dick-head, just add water !
