    Shrek 2 wasn't that good.

I thought something like this was already in use, although it wasn't genetic modification. Basicly how I remember it is when it's time to shear the sheep they're given an injection of something which causes the new hair growth to be extremely weak and brittle - sort of like an internal Nair. You wait a couple days for the stuff to work through the sheeps system, then you just bring in the sheep and peel off the wool. I can't remember where the heck I heard that, must have been on some discovery channel show.

Also, most of the second hand CD stores I've been in are small, locally owned shops. You're supporting a local business by buying from them.

Geez...where do you people live?? Well, it depends on where you buy it too. CD chain stores in the mall seem to sell for $17-20 where I am (Milwaukee), but if you go to some place like Best Buy you can get the same CD for $12.

Ok then, they can go blow up your house next time, instead of invading another country.

Well, maybe you're the evil twin.

  7. Clear Cut on MST3K Rightsholders Sue Over Theater Commentary · · Score: 1

If you RTFA it really seems like a clear cut case of copyright infringement. These guys in Austin aren't parodying MST3K, they're ripping it off and making money off of it. At the same time their humor isn't safe for most of the family as MST3K is, so the Best Brains do have a legitimate worry that the Mr. Sinus guys could affect their image. Look, just because one company is suing another over copyright infingement it doesn't automaticly mean that they're an evil oppressive money grubbing corporation. They have a genuine case here.
