This is hardly flamebait. It's an open issue, presented in a polite manner, opposed to something like "blah blah change the fucking icon you morons blah blah." I completely agree with his point. And one of the replies that, if it stays this way, the linux and bsd icons should also be modified to the same level.
"It remains to be seen why anyone in target countries would choose this over Linux, or the widely available pirate copies of 'full' Windows XP."
It is a good point that Linux would be a prime choice, I suppose, but for people who want Windows, and don't support the pirate industry, this is a viable option. Like going to the store and buying a tape of whatever movie instead of going to the red light district and picking up a pirated DVD version of it.
Also, does anyone know if the pirated software in Asia is often virus-filled?
fine, I mis-analyzed the situation, and took it as a standard game of hit-the-leader and responded as I would to any such remark, I still don't think it deserves the ratings it got though. My apologies.
is this your pathetic way of again trying to demonize microsoft? Because, as I said, that was pretty pathetic. When you complain and complain about them lowering prices to beat out competitors, and then they actually don't do it, like you've been pleading for them to do, you make sarcastic comments about it. This isn't nearly as interesting as it is flameworthy
Attn all employees:
Your sleeping tubes have now been upgraded, to a modestly sized bathroom, with movable tiles with VR-capability! You will live in a virtual mansion!
Note: All employees will receive an annual $10,000 deduction for VR-Mansion maintainence fees.
If we look at this the same way most of us looked at Katie.com, we would compare Falwell to Katie, and the Gay Rights Activist to the Book Company. Of course, the circumstances are different, and many people, including myself dislike Jerry Falwell, but I think it was worth noting.

Generic Response: "Let's Hack it"...
The problem with this is that it can be found out, by relating the odometer to the speeds(higher speeds use and inefficiently larger amount of gas), and therefore, would be extremely easy to prove as insurance fraud, which itself is shitty, and is why insurance rates are so high! Like in my home state of New Jersey
Perhaps then, they should make the Environmentally burglarous Hummers illegal?
I really wanted to say burglarous, I'm not even sure it's a word though
