  1. Re:Safety on Paris To Test Banning SUVs In the City · · Score: 5, Insightful

I'm a news photographer and I often attend accident scenes. As a rule, whenever there is an SUV involved, the occupants of the SUV survive and the occupants of the car _all_ die.

That can be considered as case for banning SUVs, right?
If not for the SUV, the other car occupants would not have died, maybe.

  4. For non North Americans, what's a playoff system? on Will Patents Make NCAA Football Playoffs Impossible? · · Score: 3, Interesting

What the hell is a playoff system?

Is it a way of taking lots of team & play them against each other & narrowing them & finally 2 of them play in a Final match to decide the winner?

If so, don't tournaments around the world in other sports already do this?

    For eg.
In the last cricket world cup help in 2007
    - 16 teams played
    - 4 Groups each with 4 teams. Each team played the other team in the group once.
    - 2 top teams chosen from each group. So 8 teams left out of 16.
    - The 8 teams now played round robin against each other team in the group of 8 except the team which was from their group. They had already played this team in group stage - so their result against this team was carried forward & added to the result of their other 6 matches.
    - Four top teams emerged from the 8.
    - Team 1 played Team 4 in one semi final & Team 2 played Team 3 in the other.
    - The Winner of the two semi-finals played in the final.

Is this a playoff system? Did I infringe any patent by posting this?

I always buy the cheapest Nokia I can get - coz I am a careless guy & don't
want to be worried about leaving it somewhere or dropping it into a bucket of
water. The good thing about these phones is that a couple of times I have left
it somewhere, people have called me back & given me these phones back, coz they
    aren't interested in these phones.

The only extra feature I would like in these phones is the ability to use Dual Sims.
I had purchased a Fly Mobile Dual SIM (35$ or so) , but their user interface sucked so
badly (for each text message to send - I had to specify which SIM to use - they didn't allow
a default) that I sold it off after a couple of months for half the price & got a Nokia
Single SIM. Nokia don't have any very cheap double SIMs, I think.

Whole Wheat Bread will raise your blood sugar but lesser & slower than White Bread or HFCS or regular sugar because of
