A while ago I convinced my wife to play Balder's Gate and she got hooked. We finished it and went on to finish Balder's Gate 2. We then played Champions of Norrath and the sequel, Return to Arms. I highly recommend them as you can import a higher level character into a game with a new character. But going through the ranks together is more fun for both. The other nice thing, once you complete it, try a different character type and go again. The dynamics are different enough to make it totally fun to go through several times.
I heard they are running a special "Turn yourself in" deal where you geta free digital watch. Seems they also want to save on transportation costs too.
In a related story, scientists were baffled to learn that they themselves had been incorrectly assuming which side, from your point of view or my point of view, was the left side of the brain vs. the right side that was being studied, thus leading them to conclude that all previous brian studies were mute and that there was no point in even going on any longer. So they threw up their hands in disgust at themselves and joined the chimps in the jungle.
Linux runs on a PC and an expensive mainframe? Wow, sounds pretty flexible to me. I mean, if I were looking for an OS to bet my company on, which would I choose, one that runs only on PCs or one that runs on PCs, mid range computers, high end clusters and mainframes? Wait, do I even have to ask? Sheesh!
