    Zinc is used as a coating material, and as such it is impossible to recycle.

    Zinc is a metal.
    It is as easy to recycle as any other metal.

  7. Because knowing something, or more precisely: knowing where someone else made a mistake, is 100 times more easy, than doing it yourself.

    I know how to fly a fighter jet .... but i never did it. So technically: I can't fly it. Or, I know how to knock one out in boxing. I know all the relevant points: but as I never boxed, I technically can't do it.

    Tax incentives don't work that way.

    Guess:
    a) you make 1,000,000 and pay the tax
    b) you make 1,000,000 and then spent 500,000 on some "tax incentive project" and pay the tax on the rest

    What leaves you with more money in the bank a year later?

    Unlike monkeys on typewriters, scientists and engineers DO come up with useful things by just playing around with stuff all day.
    That is actually true. Nevertheless most of the time they have a goal and don't just play/fool around.

    I don't run the stop sign, but i don't stop in the sense that the bike is at rest and one foot is on the ground.
    I often stop in an "artistic way", the bike is at rest but I keep sitting/standing on the pedals.

    Yeah, but 90% of the time, I slow only down like a pedestrian and continue if there is no need to stop.

    Stopping with a bicycle at a stop sign is probably in 90% of all cases pretty retarded. If there is no police around, obviously I don't stop, in the sense of the word "stop".

    Sadly not really. And if we had more of those, it would not start 7:15 but 8:45 so parents can be at work around 9:00.
    While there are jobs that start more early, it makes no sense to bring kids even more early to child care.

    Actually we are not. Space travel is super simple ... landing is hard. And it takes some time to get to the destination. Oh, and if you want to live there, you probably need a habitate ....

    If you talk about "material science" then it is extremely important to note: concrete != cement!!!

    There is a small faction of sailors who build yachts with cement hulls. Seems to be tricky, but it is considered more robust than aluminium hulls (because of corrosion).

    wherever I personally want to go just as fast as I can drive there, public transport can never be as good as owning a car.
    Public transport is usually not affected by traffic yams, and depending where you actually want to go to: 3 times faster. E.g. My town Karlsruhe to Paris ... or Frankfurt.

    Living in a 3rd world country with a 3rd world attitude about cars and public transport simply makes you forever stuck in your self fulfilling prophecy.

    Due to allergies, yes.

    There are only two ways a wasp or hornet can kill you, either you are allergic, or you get a sting into the throat or tongue and suffocate.

    Easy solution in both cases: leave the wasps/hornets alone and they ignore you.

    It has nothing to do with doing calculus or physics anymore since graduation.

    It is just a language. Half an hour working with it bring you right back to where you dropped it 10 years ago.

    This is the reason that most professional certifications require continuous education in order to maintain your certificate and license.
    Because they usually require physical skills and a "protocol". As in surgery or piloting.

    And for what, except passing a stupid constructed test, would you need to memorize that?
    The basics you can reconstruct from your mind, and if an obscure element like Tellurium or Circonium is in that column or the other one hardly matters for the jobs or hobbies you are working in.

    Wasps are considered an endangered species, that is why they are forbidden to be killed under normal circumstances.
    To get killed by wasps, there need to come several circumstances together, e.g. being highly allergic.

    I doubt we had many human killed by wasps in the last 20 years ... so only ones I remember are idiots that drink them *deliberately* with their drink.
