  1. Re:MMO's on Guild Wars Hits the Million Mark · · Score: 0

Guild Wars is absoultely for casual gamers. I bought it, played for a few months off an on, got to level 20 and now I haven't played for a few months. The fact that I can play and quit playing as I see fit makes it perfect for the non hardcore among us. When I was paying for FFXI it felt like a job that I HAD to go to every day after work just because I was paying for it.

All that, and ArenaNet have no reason to artificially lengthen the game. If they add content, it's to make users happy; when Square or Blizzard add content it's to keep you playing longer so they can rake in money. And don't get me started on how annoying it is to have to run to every city you need to go to...in Guild Wars, you just teleport. Perfect!

I don't think Sony is having any problems selling Jak2 or Hotshots Golf, both are normally great selling franchises. They COULD just send out an appology and call it day.

Can anyone that got the disk just say that their data was lost, and get a free game? I've been kind of wanting Jak 2...

Well if it spills on the floor it's pretty much useless...just like the data on a CD. So, what if you spill some congnac down the sink on accident? You do, indeed, lose the cognac. This is all crazy logic, not making any sense at all.

I don't know. My cousins had dolls, and they never peed on the floor. And you can't deny the appeal of the true-to-life flies buzzing around the rotten turkey on top of the dishwahser...

I'm no expert on the integration between IE and Windows, but ever since switching to Firefox my computer has crashed FAR less. I can keep my Windows machine up for stretches never before imagined! I'm talking 5...6 days at a time! /little bit honest, little bit funny
