I'm pretty sure the company who was showing the ads just put up a bunch of fast servers and either inserted some textures in official CS maps or just made completely new original maps with the advertising in them.
Is that not one of the most ironic things you've ever heard? The limitations of the operating system made by the same company holding back another division? Shock and awe.
You're totally right, I was mistaken. But that whole stretch of highway from Oakville to the other side of Toronto is littered with corporate offices and labs.
If you're looking in Ontario, all the tech is happening in Ottawa, or Mississauga. IBM, Microsoft, Sun, etc, etc, etc. None of the rush of Toronto, and you can even live in Hamilton, Oakville, or Burlington and jump on the GO Train for a 30 minute ride into Mississauga, Markham, Toronto, North York.
If more everyone (win users) bought Macs, they'be come down in price, if everyone migrated to *nix/bsd we'd have a more centralized development, some money flowing in and better all around products. but instead microsoft hires these people who get paid to think, yet they have an obviously inferior product. what does it take to get a following to accept this kind of reality?
So Johnny, what do you want Santa to bring you this year? A super cool retro GYROSCOPE?!?!?!?!?!?! Or that new game thing... you know, the Nintendo... ohh... what was it, "DS"?
*Johnny kicks Santa in the shin*
Those same people who find this depressing are going to be the ones burning the computers and blowing up electrical plants when they realise they're not as smart as the software they're using.
send it to a MySQL database, then Use PHP to creat a PDF, and print it from PDF... although I can't contest for the quality of printing from PDF. Just my 2cents.
To add on to what has already been said, be careful of wires attached from the removable hardware to the case, when opening your notebook. aside from that, try to purchase a similar (although in this case, you might want to choose another manufacturer because the drive you had doesn't seem to be to reliable) hardware.
me and my partner run a web development firm, after getting to know eachothers styles, it's a breeze now!
we can colaborate together, or finish up eachothers work, it's a great experience. i guess not so much if you're just starting out with someone, but give it time and you'll love the benifits.!
Bram is in cahoots with the MPAA/RIAA, why on earth would they let him implement E2E?

You've gotta spend money to make money. In the case of RHEL the fees are worth any support you might need along the way.
