    Not to mention that the areas of market operation are completely different. One deals primarily in non-physical cheap goods which have little to no transport cost and whose only function is entertainment and whose competitors by and large are great honking gits, while the other deals in physical expensive goods with large transport costs and a specific physical function and competition who aren't all great honking gits.

    It's actual not mandatory arbitration, you can still sue on an individual basis. However since Valve will pay lawyer fees win or lose in arbitration as long as you're not asking for more than 10 grand, you're almost certainly better off in arbitration.

    True, it was developed in 11 months by Obsidian who then gave it to Bethesda for QA. Beth did not come back to Obsidian with any bugs before release.

    Obsidian created F:NV in 11 months and gave it to Beth to QA. Think about the bugs on release. I'd ask what Beth was smoking, but finding out about the Metacritic deal tells me they pretty much explicitly released as is to keep the MC reviews from breaking 85.

    If Fannie and Freddie had never started ass-kissing Countrywide at the behest of the government then CDS's never would have gotten popular within the mortgage market as a way to offset the bad debt. If they had never gotten popular, a certain set of GIGO computer models would never have been generated which predicted that CDS's were a way to print money for the banks. If those models had never been generated then the subprime loan terms would never have expanded into all sectors of the housing market. Thus there would have been no hyperinflation of the housing market after the dot-com crash, which means no housing crash 8 years later.

    Also, Glass-Steagall wouldn't have stopped the problem. At best it would have delayed things a year or two.

    Samples which were outside the chain of custody on multiple occasions. When the only samples you have are possibly contaminated, they don't count.
