This hits me as a fundamentally new twist on public/private key encryption. I send you my public key (a ping) which you then use to encode a message back to me. Doesn't matter if someone hijacks the ping, because the ping will "appear" differently to them. They can still transmit to me, but they can't decrypt any other message sent from ANY other position, even if they record it and then move into the original transmitting position later. It's almost like a dynamic public key. Very cool.
Just because Adobe was smart and picked a simple name doesn't mean it should be public domain on the name. If you wanted Illustrator you should have gotten it before they did. I support Open Source but I really can't stand the socialist positions the extremists take. Welcome to capitalism folks, want to live in socialism move to France.
In the article he mentions an aqua skin for windows. Does anyone know where to get it? Does it patch DLLs to get a closer look, or is it simply a color scheme/background pic change? By the same token is there an Enlightenment skin available.
I'd have to say AG mated to the BladeEnc, provides the best possible sound. I didn't use the older versions of the AudioCatalyst (Xing Enc)since it would strip off the few top KHz of frequency. However, the newer ones (1.5)give very good quality and let you have the speed advantage of no intermediary WAV file. That's my 2 cents.
